has anyone gotton the new madden yet? how is it? how update are the rosters?
Nah. Haven't bought a Madden since 2017. EA has become lazy over the years and they have really watered down the Franchise Mode by pandering to online play and those pay-to-win card packs to get players like it's a Fantasy Football League.
If the NFL would just wise up, and let go of the exclusive rights they gave to EA, we could get a better football game. I miss the NFL2K series. They had it right back in 2004 with the NFLK 2K5 series. Greatest football game of my generation, for sure.
I still get maden every year. I really shouldn't be getting it either. EA doesn't even listen to any of thier custmors. for years i been asking them to put the mascots in the game. to this day they never have. in fact i don't think Madden ever put any mascots in the game ever.

Great point. I don't think I recall any of that ever to be honest. Have you tried the college gameday one yet? I wonder if the mascots are in that game. You'd think so, since college mascots are little more iconic and popular than the NFL.
I think one year though 2kbfl had the mascots in it,and you could even play as the mascots. so i was wrong,and Madden did have mascots in the game at least once. Madden 11 had the mascots.

Can't run the ball. Even in Madden it looks like. Into 2nd quarter. Etienne stuffed for losses a lot.

if nothing else madden is getting more realistic with the refs makeing a bad call in the game thats costs the jags the game. i got madden 25 yesterday.
so i just did a full season sim twice. first time had mac jones as qb. jags went 4-12. seconed time i had Trevor as qb. Jags went 7-10. Trevor was 3 games better then mac in maddens season. chiefs won whole thing though and only lost 1 game the whole season.

Interesting. What setting did you have it on difficulty wise, and, were there any major injuries to key players in both simulations?
Madden has alot of bugs to fix still. For instance, the Jags ratings in my franchise has pass rush 28th in the league and blocking 4th. Pretty sure those 2 should be flipped. Seems like its just a visual bug. The offensive line still doesn't block for crap lol

Lots of bugs they have not fixed in that game. Bugs/hacks reported, but just not fixed. I believe their headquarters are still in Orlando, while Electronics Arts, who owns them is in Redwood City, Cali....
Well, there is no reason to start an entirely new thread, so here's my modded Madden 24 game, current season against Miami, broadcast camera.
With it's mod support I actually love this game.
We ended up losing the game because the CPU went for it on 4th and 2 early in the 3rd quarter instead of kicking an easy field goal, and the Dolphins then drove down the field and scored a TD after our failed conversion attempt.

thats something no one has ever done in madden is put the excet right roster up for the jags. even people who downlosd rosters in community always put wrong players with the jags.
