So I was listening to the Heed The Call podcast and one of their guys asked an interesting question. Will Josh Allen (Buffalo one) win a SB? That got me wondering who of the current generation of QB's will win a SB.

If you look at the last era of QB's, Brady was a freak, Manning's won 2, Rodgers 1, Brees 1, Roethlisberger 2, Rivers 0, Romo 0.

Now there's a much bigger pool of QB's currently and some aren't going to win one, especially with Mahomes and the Chiefs domination.

So from this list, how many do you think they can win. And just remember, when one guy wins one year, that means another year all the others are closer to retirement.

Mahomes
Allen
Stroud
Lamar
Tua
Trevor
Richardson
Herbert
Burrow

Love
Caleb
Goff
Dak
Hurts
Purdy
For me, the list of who I can envision hoisting a Lombardi from this point on is:

Mahomes
Allen
LamaRB
Burrow
Lawrence
Herbert (because of Harbaugh)
Purdy (because of Shanahan)
And though it pains me to say it, I’ll go ahead and say Stroud even though I’d still like to see more of this season unfold for him.

At the risk of losing my Jags fan card, I put $100 on the Texans to win it this year.
I only see Mahomes, Burrow, Purdy, Lawrence, and Herbert in that club. The rest have severe deficiencies or we just haven't seen enough yet.
Mahomes.
Purdy.
Allen.
Jackson.
Burrow.
Lawrence.

In that exact order. Don't feel like listing everybody else. Mahomes is the obvious choice, been there and done it already. Purdy has come close, has a sweet deal in San Francisco, just has to play a little bit better in the tougher games. Allen has come a little close, he'll have to carry that team moving forward for awhile. Think he'll eventually do it. He'll probably be a late bloomer though.

Jackson is getting a little closer, again, just another guy that needs to play better in tougher games. Burrow has the unfortunate task of being Mr. Glass behind an offensive line that plays like [BLEEP]. So, there's that, with that said, he's got a ton of arm talent. That leaves me with Lawrence. I think he has a ton of talent. I think he has a ton of untapped potential still. Whether he wins it in Jacksonville or elsewhere remains to be seen, but, I can see him pulling it off at least once with the right team in place.
