He's facing new allegations from his time in Houston.  They are just allegations and everyone deserves their day in court, but these sound believable if you subscribe to the fact that it would be nigh impossible for someone to orchestrate such a shakedown involving so many women if what they were saying wasn't in fact mostly or wholly true.   This latest one alleges rape and will be interesting to follow the story.  If true, he should never play again in the league and will probably face significant jail time.  I doubt the woman has proof through a rape kit though as I would assume these charges would have come much sooner than now if she did.

Here's an article with the details of her claim:

Also, what an absolute buffoon the Browns owner has been since purchasing the team.  Maybe he'll be able to rid himself of Deshaun with these new allegations and get some of that money back.

Agreed. It's a shame that he's squandered a relatively good coach in Stefanski as well with Watson. It's even more added insult to injury with Mayfield's continued success in Tampa Bay. We'll see what happens with Watson. Hopefully the court system sorts it out properly and accordingly and either justice is served or his name is cleared for good.

The likely absence of proof leads me to believe this will be dismissed.  I would venture a guess that the plaintiff already tried to settle out of court and if Deshaun was comfortable letting these charges be filed and made public, it's basically a he said she said and he has no intention of paying out and I'm not sure how you can determine guilt in such a scenario.  If this were filed with the other lawsuits instead of separately, she probably would have a much better shot at getting paid, but that's just a guess on my part.
Innocent until proven guilty… but if guilty, I’m wondering why this dude couldn’t manage to be a just a little smoother with his attempts to get laid.
Roethlisburger got to stay in the league. The timing seems off. You have, years ago, a couple dozen women saying Watson behaved inappropriately, why wouldn't this one woman saying he did something more serious not come out at that time? The allegation against Big Ben was more credible.

Sex isn't always about getting laid and having a good time. For some it's about power and that's where assault and rape come into the picture.

That's so weird, I never understood that.

What power? The guy has everything he could ever want. Is he just a weird individual?

No, this is a common issue with anyone who assaults or abuses others sexually, physically or mentally/emotionally. Usually something is either wired wrong in their brain or they grew up with it and think it's normal. Athletes and wealthy folks are not immune to this behavior. The fact that the NFL does almost nothing to players who behave this way makes them think (know?) they can do this and still keep their job and have no incentive to seek counseling.
