TWITAFCS Standings
It's that time again, folks! Closing the book on a tough weekend for the pickers - nearly everyone hovered around .500 for the weekend, showing just how unpredictable the AFCS can be (unless you're playing the tacks). Four more games await us in the coming week? Do you make a run to the top, or dig yourself into an unrecoverable deficit? Good luck!
HOU @ MIN: If anybody said Minnesota would be 2-0 under Sam Darnold before the season began, you'd have checked to see what they were drinkin'. The tinhorns also have no losses, something's gotta give. (Shut up nerd, we're not considering a tie)
CHI @ IND: Caleb Williams has yet to toss a TD, is this his week? However, if you're playing Indy, relying on the run game may be the smart move. This may be a sneaky good game that slides under everyone's radar.
JAX @ BUF: The Bills are getting it done after a primetime humiliation of their divisional rival Miami. They return to prime time against a team that desperately needs to win. Duval always gives the Bills fits, can they show up under the spotlights?
PACKS @ TACKS: Levis already has his coach dropping the f-bombs. Can Will clean up his mistakes and get out of the doghouse? Does Willis get to abuse his former team, or does Green Bay lean squarely on the run game again?
My picks:
tinhorns 27 VIKES 14: If JJ is too hurt to play, they won't be able to keep up. The D forces Darnold into a costly mistake that seals the game.
indynoplace(H) 20 burrs 12: This one's either going to be a 40-35 shootout or a low scoring affair riddled with sloppy mistakes. I'll shoot somewhere in the middle.
BILLS 28 Duval 27: Yet another close loss, but I remain hopeful that the team can clean up their game and actually hang. I don't think the team has quit....yet.
pack 24 tacks(H) 10: More Levis mistakes lead to Packer points.
