I know one of the guys Nick is from ESPN and have seen the other host around. Nick was a huge Trevor Homer. I cannot even argue with any of their points. The numbers back it up. He could be on the bench before seasons end. Let's hope he has an epiphany! Jags start around 14 min mark.

I don't look at this as a situation where we have a team operating well in every area except the quarterback position. I know Trevor is struggling mightily out there, but IMO, the whole team is "broken." Something is wrong, and it is impacting Trevor, the O-line, the receiving corps (with the exception of BTJ), the D-line, and an injury depleted secondary. The coaching staff doesn't seem to have any answers either, so it seems like they don't even know what the problem is. All I do know is that this is not just a situation where we are a good team with a QB who is playing badly. Almost everyone is playing very badly.
He’s taking a lot of heat. Like was mentioned, Lawrence is only 24 years old. He will get things back on track soon.
I just thought of one thing that might be affecting Trevor. His play declined at the end of last year, but I believe that was due to injuries. I'm not even going to worry about that. One thing that is different for him this season is that he just signed that monster contract. I'm sure he knows as well as anyone that he hasn't quite lived up to his predraft hype. He has played well for stretches, and that, combined with his potential are the reasons he got paid the big money. I wonder if he is feeling a lot of pressure to perform because he signed the big contract? Some players sign a massive deal and suddenly start loafing. Trevor certainly doesn't strike me as that type of person. I'm wondering if maybe he is trying TOO hard to live up to the contract? Is he putting too much pressure on himself and taking himself out of his own game? Just a thought.
Lawrence is not the prince who was promised. He's Viserys.

That's cold man!!! Take it back!
#32 in this week's power rankings.. Bills #1.
I think that Bengals game traumatized Trevor. He hasn’t been the same.
There are times he speeds up his internal clock and misses reads, other times he maneuvers himself into sacks in the pocket, times he misses wide open throws without pressure, and times he is actually  pressured and beaten down.

Other than that he’s perfect.
Never ever draft:

UF QBs (tear*)
Bama QBs
OSU QBs (pending CJ Stroud)
Clemson QBs
Nothing will change until he cuts his pretty boy hair.
Yes Trevor was the reason the Defense let the Bills walk right down the field on their first 5 possession for 5 straight TDs. The Bills haven't did that in over 40+ years but that's Trevor's fault right?

The Bills scored on 8 of their 9 possessions... Again, that's Trevor's fault right?

It really wouldn't have mattered if our Offense showed up, our Defense had literally ZERO answer for Allen and the Bills Offense on MNF. They walked through our Defense with ease and it wasn't even close. Our Defense had no answer for them.

This is a very important point. The defense Monday was abysmal. They didn’t really look that good against the Browns for the most part. It’s like once OCs got tape after the Miami game and figured out how to attack it, the D fell apart. I expect this to continue for the rest of the year sadly.
If we're dividing up blame? And I had a bar graph, it would be:

50% Khan
30% Baalke
15% Pederson
5% Lawrence

Starts with ownership, then the man responsible for free agency, the draft and roster, then the head coach and his decisions with his staff, lastly, on the QB.

Bad decisions have ripple effects, however, when you're getting paid a premium at your position? More money than over 1,650 other active players in the NFL?

You're expected to make magic out of lunch meat. To elevate the dog [BLEEP] around you. To play above the X's and O's. To outshine the Jimmy's and Joe's. Your QB touches the football more than any other football player typically on most teams, or, is at least directly responsible for more than 50% of their offenses' success or failure output wise.

Khan failed in hiring the right general manager. The general manager has failed in using his cap space and draft choices wisely. The coaching staff has failed in finding the right defensive coaching staff and the right concepts to improve Lawrence and Lawrence simply has not grown into the elite QB everybody expected him to be.

I said it four years ago. I expected Lawrence to have the ceiling of a more mobile version of Matt Ryan and the floor of Alex Smith. So far, he's playing more like Alex Smith, minus the elite defense and running game to bail him out.

He'll end up being a good product in his late 20's, early 30's here in JAX but it will be too little too late and a regime change will ship him off to a team that needs a veteran QB. Probably ends up on a loaded team after his contract expires here by the end of 2029, 2030.

It is what it is.

He was on fire Week 1 in the first half. The thing that's traumatized this entire franchise is that fumble/80 td TD 1 - 2 combo. They are like a dazed fighter, punch drunk and unable to clear their heads. Now they staggered back out there and the bills just beat them down like Ray Mercer on Tommy Morrison. They're shell shocked and it shows.

Don’t we already have a dedicated Trevor thread?

You are deflecting. The offense is not scoring. The Qb sux right now.

Bottom line (pun intended)
QB under performing
Line not blocking very well and abysmal on important downs.
Receiver dropping footballs
Coaches slow to get calls to QB

This is a team game.
Trevor gave up 40+points

Trevor has also allowed the other team to score on every single 1st half possession the last 2 games.
