TWITAFCS Season 11 - Google Sheets
Unlike the AFCS itself, the TWITAFCS race appears to be a heated contest, with 6 pickers tied for the lead, and another 5 just one game back.
Last week was chaotic, as pickers widely varied in their selections, and we saw a few surprises, namely the tinhorns getting shellacked by the Vikes and something else that happened later in the week. Three games await your picks this week - how will you fare?
Duval @ HOU: Two teams with embarrassing losses, but only one seems to be in flux. Everyone is expecting the tinhorns to rebound with a vengeance, and team teal have done little to show that they aren't the perfect punching bag for a team looking to swing. The pressure is on everyone in charge of the Jaguars, do they silence the critics, or show more of the same ineptitude?
Pit @ IND: Indy squeaked one out against the Bears to get into the win column. Fields has the Stillers at a surprising 3-0 mark. Not sure if this is going to be a sloppy game or must-see TV. I have a feeling that's going to be every Sunday for indynoplace.
Ten @ MIA: The Phins are getting beat up at the QB position, but enjoyed a long rest after a Thursday game. The tacks are, well, the tacks. First one to 10 wins?
My picks:
tinhorns (H) 31 Duval 20 - Good enough play from the Jags to keep everyone on the payroll for another week, but not enough to hang with the big boys of the league. Stroud and co take advantage of a flummoxed and outmanned secondary.
Stillers 20 indy (H) 17 - Tomlin on his way to coach of the year if he wins the division with Fields.
PHINS 10 tacks 8 - Told ya so. Game is called in the 3rd quarter when Miami kicks a chip shot FG to make ten points. Fans applaud in gratitude.

Due to the storm I probably won't update picks to the sheet much before Monday. Go ahead and post them here and they will eventually get recorded. Be safe!
Ok so now the picks are gonna start to get harder to make.
Colts over steelers-its in Indy
tittians over guppies
Texans over jags
Darn I missed last week. I'll take:
Texans over Jaguars
Steelers over Colts
Titans over Dolphins

Mikey its week 4 not week 3. also thank you for doing this for us,and makeing us a sheet, and all.
Going with:
Jaguars over tinhorns (If anybody has not caught on yet, I am taking my team every single time).
Steelers over clots (I think the Steelers are just a damn good team with a damn good coach and an outstanding defense).
tacks over Dolphins (tacks won in Miami last year, think it was also a SNF or TNF game, this time it's MNF, at some point, they'll get a win, going with this one because I am not sure about the QB situation down there with Miami at the moment).
Houston - Jaguars Tie 22-22 (Basically I'm saying the Jags finally force a TO and/or Jags get a ST TD, because no chance the offense scores 20 points on their own.)
Steelers win
Titans win
Are the standings decided by most games correct or highest percentage? Also are there any tie breakers?
Overall, I'm 7-4 and hoping to stay on the positive side of things unlike our Jags! Here are my picks:
Texans over Jags
Steelers over Colts
Titans over Dolphins

I agree with Shayle. These are also my picks for this week.
I climbed off the Jagwagon last week and went 4-0. I hate picking HOU as the only winner this week but....
Texans over Jags
Steelers over Colts
Dolphins over Titans
Steelers over the clots because Tomlin
tacks over the Fins on a coin flip
Everyone over the jags until they prove different
going with Jags - we have more to lose
Squealers - better team
Flaming tacks - wash my mouth, but they're due for a W
Oof, tough week to pick the clots and tacks games, but I think I'll go pit and tacks in those two.
As far as the Jags, I wish I could say I think the Jaguars will win, but I could see them going 0-10 or so before Khan pulls the plug and players start to sit up straight and pay attention to what's going on, again. I'll take the texans.

Standings are sorted by wins (most correct) and then win %. Thinking with the versatility of the sheet, we can have a few awards at the end of the year - most picks, most wins, best %, etc.
A tie? good luck with that.

read this as we have more losses coming, can't argue.
All picks are recorded, still time to pick the tacks to lose if you haven't already

LOL, I always copy the prior week thread title because I am lazy, in my hurriedness I forgot to change a 3 to a 4. Hurricanes'll do that to a body.

2-1 this week. Feels nice to get a win even if it’s an ugly win
Must be something in the salmon. Standings are updated, and Snowy sits alone at the top.
