Lawrence is right. The passing game DOES run through Kirk. This WILL become BTJs team, but currently Kirk is still the guy. He must perform like he has most of today in order to create the openings for the other guys.

I disagree.
Trevor needs someone to develop his mechanics. That was a great drive. But throughout this game and this season, he's not good in the pocket. He doesn't settle his feet, and he does silly things when trying to escape the pocket, the spin move specifically.
That was a great drive. But there is still so much that Trevor is deficient on that needs to be corrected. And this coaching staff doesn't have a QB coach that is developing him.
Kirk makes it work.. Thomas is a homerun guy.

It's year 4 of this experiment and despite the various coaching staffs present during his tenure, he's been privy to many opportunities for getting better and developing as an NFL QB.

That is a result of having nothing but a bad offensive line in front of him and a glaring idiot as GM who refuses to do anything about it.

I'm just not willing to say he's a bust. I think he still has all the potential and ability that we saw in 2022. I'm not going to tell you that you're wrong. I'm just not willing to think this is the best Lawrence we'll ever see.

Trevor has chemistry with Kirk. Give it time and hopefully he will have the same chemistry with BTJ
