The franchise was supposed to finally be in good hands. We had a unanimous first overall QB and then a Super Bowl winning coach. We can all debate how we got here, but it’s over unless somehow Trevor starts playing drastically better. I don’t know how you keep starting Trevor at this rate. Doug could be fired mid season. The new stadium timing could not be worse. We have to start from square one. Get a new GM. Draft a new QB if you are picking first overall. Who cares about the contract. Look at the falcons and Kirk cousins. I’m so disappointed that all we emotionally invested in imploded. London 2023 feels like a lifetime ago.
Blow it all up. You have to get rid of this cancer. Every coach, everyone in the front office, every scout, every vendor, valet, ticket sales person, etc. Every last person. Start new like it's an expansion team.
Yout see Part of Doug's presser defending Press Taylor,?
Either Baalke or Doug needs to go, tomorrow!
Calling it now, Flacco picks this D apart next week and they break the winless streak at home and lose the day TC gets inducted the the Pride HOF. Only fitting for the Jags
I just want this experiment to end, man. Give me Bobby Slowik and Liipfert from Houston. Hell, give me Ben Johnson and Agnew from Detroit. We just need to move on now while we can with Lawrence entering his new contract soon and still being young and salvageable.

One thing is for sure, they’ll have to get new STHs to fill my seats next season.
I'm just thankfully the new stadium deal got done before this season started.
At least we have the draft to look forward to.
Make no mistake: this is the best team assembled by the Jacksonville Jaguars ever,” said Khan,

He had hope and the roster is much better than what we have seen.  It could have been the best team since he has been here.

It was an absolute joke. 100% passed through blame to the players and said Taylor called a great game. Dudes lost the locker room. It's why the team looks like they are playing as individuals.

Sadly I am not sure Trevor is salvageable at this point.  He panics every time the game gets big.
There is talent on this team everywhere except the O-Line.

This is not a player issue. This is a coaching issue. Though, I do agree that Baalke also has to go. He get's talent, but he has no idea how to build a team the right way.

This is not a rebuild type situation. This a culture situation. You cut the trash in the FO and Coaching, and you get a modern HC that knows how to utilize players to make them successful, along with a GM that knows how to properly build a team.

We could be back to the playoffs next year, but not with this HC and not with this GM.
Yeah the margin for winning and losing is so slim. A new regime could turn things around relatively quickly.

Both sides need to mutally part ways.
Burn the ships. Fans keep getting scammed.

I will say this league is very mediocre and I can't find a single team that impresses. Yes other teams are better but this league is all about fantasy and gambling. The players are tissue paper and the league office is a bunch of sissies.
I hope next week is a ghost town let them see a stadium of blue that’ll send a message

Damn straight I’m over spending good money after bad to be [BLEEP] on every year.

They keep putting him in poop situations. 4th and goal QB draw that everyone in the universe saw coming, 4 minute drill that couldn't eat a minute off the clock, just absolute boneheadedness when it comes to understanding not only momentum, but also what this team is made of. We gave that game away on a silver platter.

During the game the announcers even acknowledged that Doug realizes TLaw too often is trying to play hero ball and carry everything on his shoulders. He barely missed some big plays, but I think he's got the jitters from the perpetual pressure he's had over the past two seasons. We are who we are, now the coaches must figure out how to make the roster work.

We are close (excepting the debacle in Buffalo), but we keep blasting away at our toes with the most questionable decisions.

Only question is which one gets the bigger chorus of boos.

Doug may take play calling back,  but he honestly thinks Press called a good game.  Doug maintains that he is the captain of the crew and will gladly take the blame.  He is going down with the ship.

I don't know. I think the fact that he's only turned it over once in four games is a step in the right direction. I think he's trying to push the ball downfield more, and, he's getting better at it. If he hits just one of two of those TD passes yesterday? We're singing his praises this morning.

I already said it a year or two ago, but, his ceiling for me was Matt Ryan with a little bit more mobility and his floor was Alex Smith. So far, he's played more like Alex Smith and less like Matt Ryan. The turnovers, the "every pass is a [BLEEP] laser or frozen rope" out of him led me to start calling him Sunshine Brett Favre.

I still think he's a bit of all three of those guys above. Here's the thing though, he'll be 25 years old in about 2 weeks in October. I think he's salvageable. I really do. I think if you can get the right QB coach, the right HC (who is likely to call the plays himself and be joined at the hip with him on every step and snap of the way), he'll be better than where he's at now.

I think we could get a Baker Mayfield type run out of him. I think we could get a Jared Goff type run out of him. We just need to hit the reset button. It starts with Baalke. I think, if we're being fair, Baalke didn't do enough to fix the issues on the offensive line and defensive line and it's continued to rear it's ugly head over and over again.

Fix these two issues and we'll probably start seeing a +7 on offense every gameday and a -3 to -6 surrendered over defense every gameday with them getting off the field more.
