So I know the sky is falling and everyone and everything is terrible and should be fired but let's just take a step back for a moment.

The first 4 games on the schedule were brutal before we even played them. 4 playoff teams and 3 of them on the road. I don't think anyone had us down as winning them all but I think most would have been happy getting through that at 2-2 and for a few breaks and plays here and there we could be at 3-1 right now but that was a horrible run of games to start the year, especially with how last year ended.

The next 4 games however, these are all winnable. Colts (home), Bears, Patriots (both London)and Packers (home). These are games we should be winning, playing well or not. These 4 games will decide Doug/Baalke/Press future. I know yesterday was a tough loss but it was an improvement on the Buffalo performance. The team feels like the team Doug took over. Finding themselves on the wrong side of close games and not knowing/being able to do enough to get the W. I do think we are desperate for a W from a confidence perspective. I'm not saying this team will go on a magical run like the 2022 team did but a few W's can get a team rolling.

The next 4 are just massive for us right now. What do you all think we'll come out of those games at record wise. If we somehow get to 4-4 does it repair some of the early season damage?

I know things are brutal right now but we're all Jags fans, let's at least let us stick together.

Go Jags.

They have no shot against the Packers but they should win the other 3.
It is what it is..

Just going with the flow.
Flacco is going to tear us apart again. Think we go 2-0 in London, then 0-4 against the Pack, Eagles, Vikings, Lions. 2-8 at the bye is the expectation.

The Packers are a good team and will be a challenge but if they can somehow go into that games with 2-3 wins in a row we could beat them.

An awful lot of ifs I know

Holy [BLEEP]

1-9 is my prediction.

Sadly true. I thought this was a roster that could beat Houston to the South and with some luck make a bit of noise in the playoffs. Can't believe how it's turned out and I'm trying to stay positive and hope things can turn around but there's not really any good indications it is.

I mean we've all had more than enough of these years as a Jags fan haven't we.
I think they can find a way to pressure Flacco enough to limit his production.

This stretch of games is an opportunity to get the ship righted, but they have to win a couple of games somewhat convincingly before I consider that a reality.

And I frankly find this start to the season by the offense so unacceptable, I don't think I want anything to do with this staff's scheme or methodology moving forward.
It would take a miracle to change my mind at this point. Too many players with talent regressing in year 3 of a regime. That is so contradictory of conventional trajectory for a competent staff with a serviceable roster full of large investments.

I definitely agree with you. You could give them so leeway if there were a number of new starters or they were trying something new but it feels like the same O as before but now teams have plenty of tape on it. It's also frustrating as there is talent on the O but it's not being used to the players strengths, it feels more players bending to the system and the system isn't working.

These next 4 are the the edge of the cliff for me. If we can't win at least 3 then I have no faith that next season would be a sudden turnaround.

The Colts at home has been our 1 guaranteed W for years. The Eagles are a mess right now but SNF on the road fills me with dread. The run after that is brutal.
R-E-L-A-X. Let me break it down for you.

They're fixing to go on a revenge tour. It'll be so good. Taylor Swift is going to want to leave Travis Kelce for Brenton Strange once this comeback is set in stone.

Jaguars Vs. the clots on Sunday? C'mon mane. That's a W boys.
Jaguars in London against the Burrs and Patsies? C'mon lads, that's a pair of W's.
Jaguars Vs. the Packers? C'mon boys. That's an easy W. With a side of cheese on the side.
Jaguars on SNF against the Steagles? Bruv, that's another Dub.
Vikings and Lions? Mehhh.... idc... we gunna get dem W's boys!
tinhorns and tacks? Pfft... we gonna get dem DUBB-YAH's! Keep the faith boys!
Jets gonna get grounded by these Jags mane.
The Raidas don't stand a chance when the Jags on the prowl.
We gonna finish out strong.

13 - 4. #1 seed in the AFC.

Good thing is I think both the packers and iggles are looking worse than I thought they would so far, but the vikes look better even with Darnold at QB. It could be a 5 win stretch or a 2 win stretch these next 7 games. If they can through this stretch at 5-6 that would be about the ceiling and set up a late season push. Or they could be winless at 0-11, hard to tell with this bunch.
Everybody's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Yesterday I saw a bunch of guys fighting back.

The first 4/5 weeks in the NFL are the most unpredictable & least indicative of what your team is or is going to be. It's good to stack wins during that time, they count, but not as much as what happens in November & December. The season is a grind, every year is different, winning is not easy.

My vicious rhetoric on gamedays? Those don't count man. I am lit up like the 4th of July before the pregame show is done. Especially with away games.

Reading you from loss to the following game is definitely a roller coaster of emotion.  It’s not necessarily new, but I look forward to the ride every week.  Lol

I couldn't be a coach in this sport. I couldn't. I'd be Bill Cowher trying to deck somebody on the field one play, or, Bobby Knight launching a chair across the locker room because words simply don't do actions enough justice sometimes.

Or, I would probably be very stoic at times, Zen, maybe philosophical like Vermeil was (minus the water works, my God, that man was always crying about something, do that stuff alone in the shower like a real man, sheesh).

It's frustrating to be a Jaguars fan. You ALL know that. It's worse when you're born here, thrown into it at the age of six and grow up on it engrained in your DNA for the rest of your life.

Getting suspended from middle school for punching a kid twice your size because he talked [BLEEP] about your team while wearing a Frank Wycheck jersey is how I knew I had a problem.

I just want to see my city's name tied to a Superbowl trophy someday before I die. A lot to ask. I know. I'll keep asking anyway.
