What is the issue? It's a weekly thing now.

It happens about the same time each week, 3:15PM. I'm guessing there is some scheduled process running that happens to correspond with the Jags normal collapse.

Yup these next 2 are very winnable as well. Coming back from London 3-4 going back home to Jacksonville vs the Packers.

Mean while, Minshew just got benched in the Raiders game.

Agreed but lets get the next one first.  Raiders oline sucks, they are playing the number 1 D, and they have no WRs. That offense is in trouble.  The only bright spot on that offense is Bowers

I'd rather have a rookie TE named Pederson on the roster than that [BLEEP] gabe davis.

That Offense hasn't did anything in this game since Minshew tossed that awful 100 yard pick six. He had at least 2 ugly picks today before he got benched.

Yes, the point remains the same.  He has no WRs, the oline is trash, and the run game isn't very good.  When Trevor had the same issues around him you put it on everyone around him.  Now Minshew is in the same situation but it's all on Minshew? LOL.  That offense around him is trash and O'Donnell will do no better.  They do have a couple wins right now and beat the Ravens though.

Oh hey the board is back up after being down the entire fourth quarter. The defense tried to sell this game hard and I'm still sour about it even with the win. Nielsen just sitting alone in a corner picking at the grass... thank goodness for Walker getting in on Flacco. Great offensive performance answering the bell every time. How do you get bombed on so much late in the game protecting a lead?

I went to the game fully prepared for rain. So naturally it didn't rain. I was looking tosee if we improved any from the last home game. Remember this is just me looking from the south end zone.


Play calls were for the most part communicated in plenty of time. There were a few occurances of them being a bit late, but not many. This allowed the pass protection and blocking assignments to be set up and TL to eyeball the defense. IMPROVED

The pass protection was acceptable and TL should not have much to complain about. He did seem to be more calm in the pocket. As the game went on and he wasn't running for his life he began to go through his progressions. IMPROVED

The one interception TL threw looked to be a planned 50-50 ball. Their was one guy deep who had no chance at the ball and of course one shallow who picked it off. This occurred for 2 reasons. First, the ball was about a foot short and a foot inside. Second our reciever made no attempt to break this up. From where I sat it appeared he had every chance to do this, a year from now he will.

The run blocking was maybe a little better. The defense is still jamming the point of attack, but their penetration was down. I believe there is a "tell" being keyed on by defenses on runs and play actions. It may be as simple as how TL holds the ball when he is going to hand off. If you subtract Tank's big run we averaged less than 3 yards a run. Honorable mention, we executed a QB sneak properly.

Defense an up and down proposition all day. It is useless to complain about why the refs think it is ok for a tackle to put an arm bar across a rushers neck when beaten so I won't. Maybe that is acually legal, someone will correct me.

Special teams played great. A run back, a game winning FG. Heck punter averaged 51 yds a punt.

PS to top it off after a 30 year dry spell I caught a shirt between the 1st and second quarter. What could be better? Well, I caught another one between the 3rd and 4th !!

Defense gave up 24 points in the 4th quarter. Twenty [BLEEP] four points in the final quarter alone. 2 of those scoring drives only took a combined 1 minute and 20ish seconds off the clock, resulting in 14 points.

Thankfully the Offense and Special Teams came to play today.

This is what I hate about being a Jags fan. After this win I can't see how we don't win the next 7 games. We're a playoff team, baby. How can we lose?!?!!?

Can't nobody stop us but ourselves.

Are we rocking the throwbacks again this year? Need to make the permanent switch!
