Shout out to the greatest coach in Jaguars History, Coach Tom Coughlin. His name is now etched among the Jaguars greats. Built it from the ground up.

What a ride it's been!

I wasn't a fan of the Jaguars during the Coughlin coaching era. I obviously know Coughlin from his SB runs in NY. I despised his time here as the Executive VP or whatever the hell title he held when he basically dismantled the talent we had on defense...
With that said, Coughlin is clearly a great coach and a very good person. I praise his philanthropy and his coaching success in Jacksonville as the 1st HC. Not sure I'd put a HC that hasn't won a SB in the "Ring of Honor". But his continued contribution to the city makes me appreciate him.
God Speed, Tom. I'm happy he had a good day today. With any faults I know about him when he was in the Front office, the other things he's done for the city clearly out weighs that.

Enjoyed his speech today. Gave lots of credit to his players and praised the people of Jax and Jags fandom as resilient and steadfast.
He built the first era of Jags football very well until things turned - but it was great ride up to that point.
Respect.

I came aboard after the salad days to experience the joys of cap hell, so like you, he's truly jag (just a guy) to me too.
I get it for the OG jag fans, though, as I grew up in Cleveland and while we never made an SB, Marty Schottenheimer will always hold a special place in my heart.

Will he make it to Canton?

He absolutely should. Can't see how a 2x Super Bowl winning coach who has had success with two franchises could be kept out.
