TWITAFCS picks sheet

It's that time again, everyone! A limited week meant no major shakeups in the standings, but also little opportunity to fall way out of the lead, either. Duval finally found a way to come up victorious in a close game, and Houston's late field goal gave them the dub over a battered Bills team. The tacks had the week off, which saved them from another embarrassing loss.

This week offers 3 picks, one game within the division, another that should be a cakewalk, and one that is a complete wildcard:

HOU@NE: The tinhorns get to welcome Drake Maye to the league. Not sure what he did to tick off coach Mayo, but Anderson and Hunter should have some fun. Don't expect this one to be decided on a last-second field goal.

IND@TN: I don't care if Richardson is fully healthy, Flacco's shown that he can get things done with that team, it would be hard for me to put him on the bench. Gus's D got abused last weekend, Levis should give him a get-right opportunity.

JAX"@"CHI: Game is across the pond, so "home" team is loosely applied. The burrs are young, not as familiar with the overseas travel and time adjustment, will that be a factor? Duval was cookin' on Sunday, although they nearly gave the game away again. Is this a case of September rust finally shaken off, or are they still a risk to beat themselves?
For me, I am all AFCS all the time:

tinhorns 31 PATS 13: Stroud and the offense move at will, defense forces a mistake or two out of Maye. Game won't be as close as the final score indicates

clots 42 tacks 10: BOOM! I don't care who starts, tacks on the schedule is like a free space on a bingo card.

Duval 27 BURRS 17: The vets in Jax are familiar with the trip and that makes the difference in this game. The D forces Caleb into a costly turnover late to seal the win.
this is a bit of a tougher weak to pick. upsets happen in nfl.    the texans vs pats game could be a possbille upset. thats a trap game for texas.

anyways  with my picks this week I'm going to take the

Texans

tittians

bears
Texans over the Patriots
Bears over the Jaguars
Colts over the Titans
Texans over Patriots
Bears over Jaguars
Titans over Colts
Normally I’d be a little bitter over going O-fer but the Jags finally got off the snide.

This week I’ll go:

tinhorns over the rookie QB.

clots big if Flacco gets the start, a squeaker if the athlete gets the nod.

jags over da bears due to the London experience. If we win this week I’ll consider capitalizing that J next week.
Going with:

tinhorns over the Patriots
Jaguars over the Bears
clots over the tacks
Texans over Patriots
Bears over Jaguars in OT
Colts over Titans
Texans over Pats
Colts over Titans
Jags over Bears
Jaguars
Texans
Colts

Titans play the Colts.  Need to choose one or the other, and weigh in on the Patriots/Texans game.
