TWITAFCS picks sheet
It's that time again, everyone! A limited week meant no major shakeups in the standings, but also little opportunity to fall way out of the lead, either. Duval finally found a way to come up victorious in a close game, and Houston's late field goal gave them the dub over a battered Bills team. The tacks had the week off, which saved them from another embarrassing loss.
This week offers 3 picks, one game within the division, another that should be a cakewalk, and one that is a complete wildcard:
HOU@NE: The tinhorns get to welcome Drake Maye to the league. Not sure what he did to tick off coach Mayo, but Anderson and Hunter should have some fun. Don't expect this one to be decided on a last-second field goal.
IND@TN: I don't care if Richardson is fully healthy, Flacco's shown that he can get things done with that team, it would be hard for me to put him on the bench. Gus's D got abused last weekend, Levis should give him a get-right opportunity.
JAX"@"CHI: Game is across the pond, so "home" team is loosely applied. The burrs are young, not as familiar with the overseas travel and time adjustment, will that be a factor? Duval was cookin' on Sunday, although they nearly gave the game away again. Is this a case of September rust finally shaken off, or are they still a risk to beat themselves?
