Looks like our beloved Jaguars and tacks will be racing for that #1 pick in next years draft.
Yay.

But there is no truly highly touted QB's in the draft. It's the wrong draft to have the No. 1 pick, just like the TW/AH draft.

Take the best OT. Then in round 2 the best OG. Then in round 3 the best WR.

If we are top 3 I would be trading the pick

At some point we need to address this pathetic secondary.

BPA. The top guys will be Hunter, Johnson, Graham, or maybe a tackle. Take the guy whoever is the highest on your board because we need interior, corner and tackle. All 3 are huge needs

Then you have to take the best player in the draft. We need a corner, DT, and OT badly. Hutchinson would have been a very good pick 1st overall. Myles Garrett was a very good pick for the Browns. We need ballers and there are a few blue chip players at the top we just have to take the right guy. If you can get an all pro shut down corner with the 1st overall pick its a great pick .

Hutchinson is a very good player, but he is not even close to Myles Garrett's league.
Yes you need blue chip players, but they need more than just 1 guy you get with the no. 1 pick. I know people are salivating over Travis Hunter, but I just don't seem him living up to a No. 1 draft pick status that people expect when selected no. 1 overall.

They would also get the top pick in every other round unless another team has the same record. We also have an extra 3rd and 4th from the BTJ trade. We will have a nice set of picks next year we just need the right GM that drafts ballers instead of guys with just good measurable and traits.

A couple of observations from yesterday's games:
1. Calvin Ridley caught 0 passes and was quite angry about not being thrown to enough early in the game. The Jaguars certainly dodged a bullet when the Titans offered him that crazy contract. Chances are, they would not have drafted BTJ, who despite his unfortunate drop yesterday is a player capable of becoming a superstar.
2. Aiden Hutchinson is lost for the season when on his way to Defensive Player of the Year. Those who refuse to believe that certain franchises are "cursed" may not be familiar with the Jaguars, Lions, Cubs and Red Sox. I count the 2 baseball teams since it took them 108 and 86 years respectively to win another championship. Sadly, if the same holds true for the Jaguars I will be LONG GONE when they finally hoist the Lombardi Trophy!
