STANDINGS

As we begin to hit mid-season form, the pickers are doing well. Practically everyone posted a 2-1 record on Sunday, with resident tinhorns cland and BattelRedBlood the only ones to record 3-0 records. For the season, we have a 3-way tie at the top and 2 wins separate first from tenth. We got 4 games to pick from this week, which could shake the standings up if anyone wants to chase upsets...

HOU @ GB: Tinhorns had an easy week welcoming Drake Maye to the league. The Pack won't be nearly as easy a task, especially on the road. This should be must-see TV.

MIA @ IND: Two teams with chaos at QB. Richardson is probably healthy enough to get the nod, although that may hurt their chances at the W.

NE @ JAX: Teammates calling out quitters, coaches seem apathetic. Maye was baptized by fire, do the Jags make it look easy for him, or do they respond to the heat with some much-needed vigor?

TN @ BUF: Will Levis will give Buffalo D plenty of chances to feast. Josh Allen should be sitting by the end of the 3rd. How long before the WR in Nashville stage a rebellion?

tinhorns 33 GB 28 - I expect a shootout, but Mixon is the difference maker on Sunday. The rest appeared to serve him well.

phins 16 INDY 13 - Gus's D should get abused, but lack of QB is going to keep Miami from running away with things.

DUVAL 24 Pats 20 - Maybe I'm too loyal, but I figure the players holding each other accountable will finally get guys to start putting effort forth that we've yet to see. The D still lets the Pats keep it too close for comfort.

BUFF 42 tacks 10 - BOOM. For as bad as Duval fans think they have it, at least they aren't the tacks.

clots - Dolphins have checked out just as much as my favorite team

patriots - Sorry, but I don't see us winning against a team with a really good defense and a QB with arms that has a pulse.

glad the board was up long enough for folks to get picks in. I was debating skipping this week due to the board outage, I'll set something up on the sheet if you want to bookmark it in case we have another outage in the future.
