Oh boy. Just what we needed. A road trip to the best team in the league right now. May be another Mac Jones game, injuries everywhere and problems everywhere. It feels as hopeless a matchup as you can get right now.

Does anyone have any positive way to spin this one? Any way they think we can hurt the Lions?

I gotta say I'd be pretty happy to lose by only 2 scores.

And hey D6! Hope you stop by this week.
Stat padding

Get btj some more yards, let walker stat pad his sack tally

Um

Or be competitive and choke in 4th quarter
Lions have now won 7 games in a row. It is the longest for their franchise since 1995; as in the entire history of the Jags
They just beat 2 playoff teams on the road.
The 2nd one was an emotional game they had no business winning because of their QB.
TE LaPorta is hurt and may be out on Sun.
They are probably looking at the Jags as a guaranteed win and overlooking them given their upcoming schedule.
They don't know if T-Law will be back and playing or not.

All this could easily be trap game territory. And bad teams ending long winning streaks happens all the time in the NFL.

Having said that, it will only happen if the Jags can get a defensive/special teams TD, JHA or Walker take it to Sewell, and the Jags actually show some creativity with some trick plays that they have but are saving for what exactly?

Trap games do not exist. It's just a myth and has no evidence of its existences. It's quiet annoying when NFL fans use that word.

You have this interesting mix of JaguarsWoman, CJB, OG Jagsfan and PeckerNation with a dash of mikesez going on in your takes and online persona here.  It's been fascinating to watch you assume each of those heel roles at times, but it's probably going to wear out its welcome sooner or later would be my guess.  Probably sooner.
I think this is the game where the wheels finally fall off and it's a 30+ point blowout.
MORE MAC DEEP BALLS TO RB'S IN DOUBLE COVERAGE
Jaguars - 96
Lions - 69

Pisces rejoice if you tilt your head to the left which is my right. I think...

Trevor won't have Robinson letting guys have free runs at the back of his knees, this time?
Who knows. I figured the Vikes game for a blowout.
Stay on track for #1 pick? That’s a positive I guess?
Lions coming off 2 very emotional road wins against playoff teams. This could be their let down week, wouldn't surprise me if we won some weird 9-6 game, and Baalke and Doug retained for the bye week. The Lions dont give a [BLEEP] about the Jags coming, they got bigger fish to fry. They should just rest their whole team.
Blowout.

Then we will win Bye week.
Blowout and hopefully that’s the final nail for Baalke

Oh man I completely forgot about that play. Trevor looked done for the year but somehow still played. Don't know if I've ever been angrier with Robinson.

Dateline - November 23, 20024 - Jacksonville, Florida

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan announced today that, despite the Jaguars' current record and internal issues, both General Manager Trent Baalke and Head Coach Doug Pederson will return through the 2027 season.

Said Khan, "I realize that we completely failed this year despite Trent's assurance that this was the best team ever assembled in Jacksonville. I will not tolerate another lapse such as this and both men know that they have 3 offseasons and 51 games to show improvement. I thank the people of London for their patience as we work ever harder to provide a competitive and enjoyable product to NFL fans around the world. I have every confidence that Trent and Doug can improve the product on the field in time for our historic Season Overseas where the team plays all nine home games in Europe while the taxpayers of Duval Country provide us our wonderful new stadium. I'm also pleased to announce that, beginning in 2028, the team will play 4 home and two away games in London, fully demonstrating my commitment to developing the revenue streams necessary to keep the Jaguars in Jacksonville."

Brother... don't put this out into the universe. That's spooky to think about.

I don't think we have to worry about our kneecaps.

They thrive at picking apart defenses, and I don't see us forcing Goff into the same mistakes Darnold made.

The only way we keep it close is if they give us points, we're not dictating a thing in this game.
Mac Jones should be up to 5 ints this week. All his targets will be TEs and RBs.

Another loss and maybe Baalke gets fired before the bye? That would be a positive.
