Is this true? Has anyone else heard of it.

Mahommes did ask the refs to notify him when defenders are near him as per this audio, BUT I know nothing about payoffs. He's supposidely being fined 1+ Mil for such an action. Did the cheating transfer from the Patriots to the Chiefs?

Time Will Tell.

don't ever trust anything sourced on spaceberks.
Tom Brady getting into a little hot water for criticizing the refs was irony as thick as wet concrete.
Wolfie's string drawing attention ! Get em Wolfie!!!
He's on video / audio asking for help from the refs after getting tackled near the sideline. The specifc quote is "can you let me know when he gets...when he's close?". What he's referring to is up for debate, but it seems obvious that you should never ask someone that is supposed to be a neutral party for assistance with anything, unless its to explain a rule or justify a penalty.

Asking the question shouldn't be an issue.
How the ref answers? Well that could be troublesome.
NFL films has shown plenty of footage where star QBs banter with refs before and during games.
I don't recall seeing any where refs have openly conspired to give QBs an advantage.

Now if that ref starts showing a 'tell' before Patty gets hit? We got a big issue.

Asking the question should absolutely be an issue. If he's asking for a neutral party who can change the game to intercede on his behalf that is a problem. Maybe the refs never answer it to Pat's advantage but to even put them in that position is egregious. He should get a warning from the NFL.
Josh Allen is a beast. Best QB in the league

I still put Mahomes first, but I think Allen has proven to be #2 in the league.

That Bills team came to win. That was a great game to watch after the shellacking the Jags got.

Josh Allen should win the MVP imo if he continues to play the way he has.  I think he is the best QB in the league and the most valuable.  If Allen got hurt i don't think the Bills would win another game.  If Mahomes gets hurt i think they would continue to win with Wentz at QB.
Remember that friendly red running up to Tom Brady being buddy buddy after the AFCC game against the Jags?

And this is the reasoning for this thread. They (the sideline audio crew) slipped up and it'll forever be entrenched. This is also why KC looked diminished in the SB game. No help from the refs, basically the same crew that Mahomes and Head Ref swapted jerseys earlier within the season.

Absolutely. And Jack wasn’t down.
