It's eerie how much of this story parallels, just change a few names, make the stats a bit worse, and it's like we're staring in a mirror.

Both franchises have one of those terrible Taylor coaches on the sideline.

That's fair. I just think it goes to show you how quickly your window can be opened and closed at this level. It's not that easy getting back up to the mountain top. The problem people have is why teams seemingly fail in addressing the obvious issues with their teams though.
Burrow got his bell rung during that Superbowl run, then he had back-to-back years with injuries hindering him due to said issues with the offensive line. They shipped Joe Mixon off and their defense got worse in a division that traditionally relies on it's defense and running game to get them through.
I don't know what would hurt me more as a fan though to also be fair again. Getting there and losing the damn game, or, getting close and falling a little short here and there. I think getting to that game and losing it close or getting beatdown badly would cripple me as a fan personally.
I wonder how Atlanta's fanbase feels when they see that 28 - 3 looming over their heads. Imagine what happens when the Bills Mafia has to once again stomach some jarring upset on the road in Kansas City or Josh Allen reverts back to being Josh Allen and coughs the ball up three times against a wildcard team like Pittsburgh, Baltimore or Los Angeles.

As a kid who grew up in Cleveland, I didn't care if we got smoked as bad as the Elways did, I just wanted a chance to say we got over that damn hump. 3 AFCCG in 4 years, all to the same team. It was cathartic watching them get absolutely pantsed, but getting there and losing is always going to be better than missing out altogether.
You know how much you hate Jeff Fisher and Greggggggg Williams, how Myles Jack wasn't down, how Dennis Northcutt's tiny t-rex arms keep you up at night. You'd certainly trade any of those nightmares for a chance not to blow a 28-3 lead.
