I personally think if we make that trade we take Howard there

Personally I think we should take McCaffery there, but I feel like the Jaguars are getting desperate for guys who can rotate in with their starters. All we have is Fowler and Ngakou set... We can use Jonathan Allen to rotate with Malik Jackson, and we can use Solomon Thomas to rotate with Calais Campbell, but unfortunately we can only get one... We could also use Stevie Tu'ikolovatu later in the draft to rotate with Abry Jones.
What made you feel like they were desperate about rotating guys?

I think you could make a rotation argument about TE and RB, too. DL has some quality players already. The offense needs a gamechanger in these positions.

Listening to Todd Wash over the years, he's all about keeping his DL fresh and has talked about having a second wave that's nearly as good as his starters. We're a long ways from that right now.

But we rotated DL in all year.
Quote:But we rotated DL in all year.
Precisely, and Wash surely intends to do so again only the players from last year are no longer there. They had Sen'Derrick Marks rotating with Malik Jackson, Roy MIller III rotating with Abry Jones, and at strong DE they had Alualu and Odrick rotating. We're currently in need of three new DLs to replace Marks, Miller and Alualu... we already obtained Calais Campbell to replace Odrick.

I believe Day will replace Marks but I do agree on the Aluala and Miller replacements

I like Day as one of those inside third down pass rushers, but is he ready to rotate with Malik?
You might have a point if they truly like Day enough to pass on Allen.

Our first round selection won't be rotational. He'll be the starter.

Agreed, but not in the first round. We already have rotational help at the position.

Next time BOLD Jags picks

I do... only I bold the others as well.
Maybe I can underline the Jags picks, or possibly better yet... make the Jaguars pick black... black always stands out over the teal.
