Dewey was in the game at some point, so, doesn't surprise me. There was a couple of instances in the passing game where Collins was getting wide open and they're probably looking at him as well in the running game if he's over pursuing.
Had high hopes for Cisco. He'll probably catch on elsewhere and be just fine though with a better supporting cast and more competent coaching staff. I could see him doing just fine on a team like the Lions, Vikings or Bills.
There was a play where Cisco was completely out of position... I'm too tired to remember the exact play. But Cisco was clearly out of position on a significant play. I'm sure folks that can review the game will point it out.
Cisco has been a disappointment this entire year. Though, it could also be a result of a trash DC.
That big play down field pass Tank Dell where Darby had to run all the way down field 40 yards it seemed like, Cisco was supposed to be playing deep help luckily Stoud just missed him, Darby was pissed. He got put back in after Jarian Jones got kicked out of the game because Savage went back to nickel

He was watching Stoud's eyes as he stared at the under route. A safety cannot do this. The Texans have seen him do it all year on film. He did not do his job. "Freelancing" Tank Dell was his guy. What a way to cost yourself money.
It was the tinhorns first scoring drive.
Cisco followed the Y instead of dropping with the go route and Darby saved his bacon with a PBU then jawed at him for screwing up.
Nielsen sat him.
He didn't return until injuries and the Jarrian Jones ejection shifted the secondary lineup later in the game.
Cisco's best shot is to ask for a 1 year prove it deal with whomever will take him. He's still got a lot of speed and strength.
I don't know how much you can blame Nielson for him being constantly out of position.

Yeah. Antonio Johnson has also disappointed after a few flashes of playmaking ability as a rookie. This defense still needs a ton of work going into next year and it really should be what gets everybody fired.
Between the free agency signings, the draft investments and Doug's inability to hire the right coach? It's a full on organizational failure.
I think this scheme lost Cisco. He was playing lights out until this year. It's hard to imagine he just started sucking.

Dewey played 4 snaps on Defense lol.... Cisco played 51... The mention that he was benched is the dumbest [BLEEP] I've ever heard... This is a brain dead thread from somebody who is simply out of the know.

You are an arrogant jerk. You have nothing if value to add to every thread you participate in. Tony Boselli and Prisco said he was benched. He played snaps because of injury.
Forget Bosell and Prisco, we should listen to That arrogant horses [BLEEP] Eric1

So they benched him for 12 snaps? The tinhorns had 63 total Offensive snaps... Cisco played 51 of them on Defense... Do the [BLEEP] math dude.

Don't forget that Trevor had a 28.8 PFF grade. Mac ended with 74.1

Why didn't he play those 12 snaps?
Because the DC rotates his players around like it's a hockey line up and has been doing it all season long.

I’m lost. He has potential. Why wouldn’t the jags re-sign him (buy low) ?

You will have to see if he was pulled before the hit or not. I didn't pay attention enough to see if he was out before the hit and ejection or just subbed out for a few plays.

@ because all the coaches are coming back and we already know he isn't a fit in this miserable scheme. @

Cisco grew up a few towns over from me, loved watching him play in HS and at Syracuse. I was ECSTATIC!!! when the Jags drafted him in the 3rd round (would've been a late 1st round pick if not for that ACL tear). As weird as this sounds his dream was always to play for the Jets. he grew up a HUGE fan of theirs and doesn't care if they're bad; assuming the money is similar I think he would take an offer from them over us or another team assuming they want him.
I had high hopes for him, and he had some moments ballhawking here with some nice athletic picks/PD's. But he's just a little too soft for my taste; as much as i want to root for a local kid I just don't think its worth overpaying for a guy I can get similar production from with one of our many mid round picks or bargain bin free agent signing.
