TWITAFCS Season 11 - Google Sheets
Board hiccuped this morning, so the emergency page is up and running on the linked sheet, feel free to bookmark and visit whenever the board is down.
We're down to a select few diehard pickers, unfortunately this season has been a bit of a drag for the AFCS. Not much unpredictability to make the picks exciting or challenging. Even still, diehards that we are, we're gonna see this thing through to the end, even if we all end up picking the same teams week in and week out.
We got one game this weekend, and we all know what it is. stinkin' tacks week. Two teams in the cellar, neither one with postseason aspirations, little more than bragging rights to be played for. Jag fans are either bloodthirsty or numb following Sunday's loss to the tinhorns, but really the score didn't matter once Lawrence was knocked out of the game. tack fans, well, have trouble counting to eleven with socks on. Who knows what goes on in that little marble in their noggin. Probably what would happen if you cross-bred a hammerhead shark and a monster truck, I dunno.
So, you gotta pick one. Duval or tacks, one or the other. Nobody really wins. Might be the perfect motto for the AFCS 2024.
Gimme the tacks because they are at home. Warshington gave up a bunch through the air last weekend, and I don't think we got the defense to slow their receivers down. We'll put up a fight, but yet again come up short, it's kinda what we do.
Tacks over Jags. It is what it is.
I so bad want to take the jags, but not a good time to do that. the team has fallen apart, the owner is a clown, the coach is an idiot. the starting qb is injured. ussassley that would give me a reason to pick with my heart.
Not this week though. as bad as i want us to win i know we won.'t.
my pick titans over Loserville new born kittens
Welp, all yall taking the chalk, I gotta swim upstream if I want any progress. Changing my pick to Duval.
Team goes out and wins one for the gipper. tack fans flood Tennessee for the second time this year with all their tears.

a town being flooded is not something to joke about. It happened here in Asheville North Carolina, and also in Eastern Tennessee. as much as i dislike the football team,i wouldn't ever wish bad on the town. water is very devasting, and can do major damage to towns as well as cost people their lives. with all due respect please don't say their tears will flood the town. it would sound better if you just said all the tack fans will be crying about how bad thier team is.

Buddy I have been displaced since May thanks to a tornado, don't be crying to me about natural disasters. @You might start the next flood@
Oh yeah, did I also mention that I reside in a flood plain? I deal with this every time we get heavy rain. I am no stranger to mother nature's wrath.
I'm not crying,i was just saying no matter how much i dislike a nfl team,im not going to make fun of their misfortunes. in fact i support them most of the time. don't worry though,i won't ever support the titans nfl team. when Katrina hit new orleans years ago,i hoped they would win the super bowl. they did. Honestly i feel thats a little hateful to say the tears flooded tensse, but that's just me cause i'm a lover even with those i don't pactlier like or dislike. why i can't stand the nfl team in Tennessee i still like the people espaissely the founding pastor of church i go to. hes retired now.

Saturday prediction complete.
Hopefully the Jags will complete the sweep.
I'll take 0-1 this week espaissley with a jags win. Good call Mikey, and copycat.
Yep, good call on the Jags. Somehow a TD happened in a game where no TD belonged.

OH YEAH!
2-0 on the weekend! Buy a powerball ticket!
Kinda cheesed about the news about Albin, too...seems like a lateral move at best, at least when Grobe left it was for a P5 school.

We tried to give the game away, but their suck was better than our suck. Thanks to DVR I knew the final score in advance, and I still expected us to give up the tuddy late.
I got a request Mikey. Just in case the board hiccups or goes down can you please set up the sheet for us to use as our energy picks please.
I am doing the work of 3 ppl today, it will be updated when I can, but not a priority.

I would call it a downgrade at best.
I am hearing rumours of the administration dragging their feet on an extension. If true someone really dropped the ball.

Yuck. Was at the game and it might be the ugliest game I've ever seen. Both of these teams are putrid.
