One of those was actually Jarrion Jones letting the receiver go when he was supposed to man up on the seam route.

Ended up being Lloyd and Johnson scrambling to cover, but Jones should never have bailed on the route when it went deep.

I was trying to figure that out yesterday and heard Campo break it down on the radio ^ thusly.

I am big on the reality of AND. It is the front office, the coaching, and the players.

What I've begun to realize, in my constant frustration regarding the jaguars as an NFL football team is that it's always both.

The players, overall, suck.  But the GM is not picking good players that fit the direction the team.  And to top it all off, the coaches have no idea how to use the players that are on the roster.

It's just an overall failure of how to draft players, how to develop players, and how to utilize the players in the best way to make the team successful.  It's a sad state of affairs that has been here since I've been a die hard fan from 2007.

We don't have a culture of winning.  And so everything is just throwing spit balls at the wall and wondering what will stick.  Nothing ever sticks, because we never have competent management.  I just find it hard to only blame the players when it's the management that brings in the players.  And it's the management that hires coaches.  And it's the management that decides when to upgrade certain positions, whether it's coaches or players.

That's it.  I'm off my soap box.  I've just realized it's not Players vs. Plays.  It's Management versus players.  If the management has no clue how to build a team, the players are gonna look lost out there on the field.  And that's what we've been seeing for 2 years now.
On the play that everybody is saying Lloyd was toasted up the seam, was a busted coverage by Darnell Savage. Lloyd was in trail tech, Savage’s responsibility was deep 3rds and he bit on the wrong guy. This left Lloyd in trail tech and he ain’t catching up to any receiver in the league with a 5 yard cushion.

I don’t know the rankings, but statistically speaking, Savage has to be the worst starting Safety in the league.

Cisco and Savage have both been aweful this entire year.

Which is weird because against Miami, Week 1, Savage actually looked really good.  But he got injured, and he's been trash ever since.  Cisco, on the other had, has be a total disappointment!!!

Man, Jenkins is killing it in Seattle.  We always let the good ones go and keep the trash.  It's insane.  I just can't understand how it's always this way.  We get rid of the good players and bring in trash Free Agents.  It's almost like a habit.

Well in Seattle they have an actual DC, it makes a difference. We have a hockey coach from I have seen.

It's so weird how they really don't seem to know what's going on once they break the huddle. I think the Lloyd to Mike experiment blew up because the guy just has no instinct for the position. Once they moved him out of that role when Foye came back he started playing much better. I just don't think the "Hey, let's completely change the defensive scheme in one offseason" deal worked out with the FA class they brought in. They don't have the horses they need to collapse the middle and cover the outside, but Neilsen calls stuff oddly too.

It's just so bad, though...  Like they can't even figure out how to best use the players we have.  I don't even know who to blame anymore.  Maybe it's not the coaches and the GM.  Maybe it's just the city?  Do they just get soft the moment they come here?  Honestly, I don't get it.

Savage looked great against Miami.  Seriously, go back and watch #6 in week 1.  He was all over the field in the 1st half!!!  And then, since week 1 he's been terrible.  And what the hell happened to Campbell?  I know he's had a hammy injury, but he's been terrible even when he's playing.  And Cisco???  What the heck?  Dude might as well just take a long walk off a short pier.

Oh, and why the hell is Dewey only playing punt protection????  We just never have the players in the right spots.

I just don't get what the hell this coaching staff is doing.  It's like they have no idea who we have as players and how to use them the best.

We should have won this game...  Not that it matters.  But dude, we always beat the jets.  Losing to them is a slap the the face.  It's just not right.  I'm drunk.  I should just go to sleep.

You blame literally everyone BUT the players.
