I'm proving a point.  The point is, no one can explain the difference between complaining and whining in terms of my behavior.  The difference is in your feelings, not my behavior.  Blame me for your feelings if you want.  But I take no responsibility for them.

People don't like disagreement and they especially don't like the type of precise discussion where they might get proved wrong.  People like to be right. I'm not here to be liked.  I'm here to try to prove people wrong or make jokes or offer context if I know any. For the proving people wrong part, me and Sneakers have that in common, at least.

It's the same thing. If a cultist ever realizes that one of the cult's beliefs is wrong, maybe they'll leave the cult.  But it kind of depends on why they joined the cult in the first place.  Maybe they joined it for friendship instead of truth. I can't know each cultust's motives, so I just do what I can.
