Agreed.  That's not country it's pop.  Probably the worst halftime show ever.

Instead, Khan showed rich doesn't mean smart and flushed another few years of Trevor's career and Houston got to profit from it.

We say that now, but it is not that clear.

The highest probability alternate timelines were:

Hiring Byron Leftwich as HC with Adrian Wilson as GM. Leftwich is now out of the league. Wilson left the Cards as they fell apart and joined the Panthers at a lower level position and then was let go because of domestic violence allegations.

Rick Speilman as EVP who may have reined in Baalke/Pederson or let them go siooner. But even he is now glad he has reported in interviews that he is glad didn't take a FO job and prefers the consultant role due to less work hours and stress. So it is unclear how long he would have held onto the role in Jax especially if he had to deal with stubborn rams like those 2. Plus his history with Vikings was middling around 0.500 from 2006-2022 with only 6 playoff appearances. He generally gave coaches long leashes too, with only 3 coaches under him in all that time. While he did draft well enough to be relevant, he also only had 1 true contender -- 09 Vikings with end stage Favre. The best other teams -- '15 Vikings with missed kick, '17 Vikings with miracle GW TD, '22 Vikings with all the comebacks -- were all good teams but and perhaps sleeper picks, but not truly in the mix.

It seems that Khan felt like he got burned by Bradley and Caldwell who were hot up and comers at the time, and now prefers "pedigree" and prior accolades for his GM/HC. Even if they are fool's gold or have caveats.

I don't think there was ever a real chance he was going to hire someone like LaFleur or Kevin O'Connell in '22. I honestly think that's why he hemmed/hawwed and went to Baalke to say if you can find someone who can work with you I'll give you a chance.

Lolol

The entire AFC South would be relegated in that set up.

Talking about what was likely to happen doesn't matter, we can talk about what did happen and how it was an obvious mistake or what could have happened that might have been a mistake.

Personally I was a big Pedersen guy. I still think he's a decent coach hamstrung by bad personnel acquisition, but I understand he likely has to go because the house needs to be cleaned and Baalke must be replaced.

I don't care who Khan hires, he just needs to find a GM that can recognize which players will be good and which players won't be good and pick from the ones that will be good and leave the other guys for our competition to take, instead of the other way around, like the Jaguars have been doing for decades.

Her fame far exceeds her talent, IMO.
I sure do like watching the Patriots get whooped.
This Bengals vs Broncos game should be good.
Telling you. We need to draft McMillan in April to compliment Thomas Jr. We could have the same tandem in 2025 like the Bengals have with Chase and Higgins. McMillan makes 50/50 catches look easy and he'd be a good WR2 here.

It's always a pleasure watching Dallas get beat.
Nabers 170yds
I still don't understand how LSU didn't score like 50 points every game last year with Daniels, Nabers and BTJ.
The Jags next head coach needs to come from Minnesota or Detroit.

I don't actually care which guy it is.    Hire Boselli as the EVP, hire a GM and hire someone from the NFC North.
Minnesota always ends like this just to choke in post season lol
Their defense is good though.
Minnesota took a Jets bust of a QB, coached him up and put him behind a real NFL O-line. there ya go
I was always on board for moving on from Patterson because he couldn't kick touchbacks

And now he may have just lost a game for the Falcons by coming up short

Arm talent + scheme + protection + coaching = wins
