Smart move, talk to the team without a GM, try to get them to make the stupidest move ever.

$100m in dead money, all of his bonus would accelerate to this season, sure let's be worse off cap-wise than the Aints.

SMRT.
Yeah this simply isn’t happening
Someone forwarded me an x post from @AdamSche1fer posing as @AdamSchefter reporting this news earlier today. I had to point out it was a fake account to the person. Starting to wonder if this entire narrative was started by that account. It's starting to look like it. How do "reputable" news outlets get duped by this [BLEEP]?

Made ya look, made some money
If true ya can't blame them for asking with the Jags reputation for doing dumb stuff.
Hey Liam, welcome to the Jags ... we just traded Trevor for 35 year old DT Cameron Heyward.

Signed
Nico Harrison (interim GM)

-defense wins championships
*Lawrence has a FULL NO-TRADE Clause*

So the Steelers can be interested all they want.

Contract Details:
5 year deal worth $275M
$200M fully guaranteed
$37,500,000 signing bonus
When the 2025 season starts Lawrence will also get signing bonus of $35,000,000 which will be paid on the 10th league day
$500,000 workout bonus
2,000,000 2025 salary

Guaranteed at signing = $142,000,000 million

Lawrence is in his 2nd year of his 5 year contract, which pays him $35,000,000 each season, along with workout bonuses, signing bonuses, and annual incentives.

Dead Cal Value = $133,000,000

$74.9 Million of compensated is insured

The Jaguars are paying Lawrence big time money, and he can’t be traded.

*last season the Jaguars also exercised a $25.6 million dollar option for 2025.
