As most are likely aware, the Duval Pride message board has been afflicted with technical issues for the last several months. While we are in a slower time in the early offseason the Mod Team would like to encourage you to visit our new sister site The Duval Football Fans Forum at duvalfootballfans.com
Many of our longtime posters have already signed up on this new board with similar or the exact same user ID so that the conversations can continue as we progress into the new NFL season. We’ll be entering the free agency period in a few weeks with the draft to follow in April and we do not know if the technical issues at Duval Pride will be corrected before then. If they continue then the additional traffic will create more of the connectivity issues we’ve been experiencing as more and more users return from this dead zone of the offseason.
All of us on the admin team are grateful to Superuser for his many years of work maintaining Duval Pride and our community here. We do NOT see Duval Football as a replacement for Duval Pride, but as an alternative that offers stability and availability when NFL events draw large numbers of users to the discussion. While the future of Duval Pride is uncertain, at this time it is not shutting down, many of us will be posting on both boards, and we cautiously expect this forum to continue; but we also want an alternative available if and when the connection errors occur.
