I was wondering why Trump simply couldn't say we no longer support Ukraine and leave it at that.
He tried a few schemes to outplay Zelinsky, the mineral deal comes to mind. But Zelensky was there for it, leaving Trump with nothing.
So outplayed, Trump was reduced to simply exerting power to bully and humiliate him.
We all know he was siding with Russia all along. The only question was when would this day come.
Tired of waiting for a Zelensky mishap to make it happen, Trump simply decided to make it happen himself.
The show he put on was unnecessary, but he really doesn't like Zelensky, especially since:
