Playing it safe has really worked out for this franchise in the past. Good on Gladstone. You guys are gonna be really pissed when we move up to take Sanders today.

Balkie would NEVER have done this. Another reason this was a great move. Just do the opposite of what previous jags general managers have done. ALL of them in the last 20 years.

sorry for being late with a response,i was to much in shock last night to respond. we traded up,and took a huge risk ,yet at same time it was a move by a team showing they got some balls. Time will tell,im a little worried hes going to be like jalen ramsy was,and tear the jags apart after 1st season. I'll give the guy a chance though. according to this jags youtuber though its a bad pick, and hes angry.

Having said that giving up effectively two 1st round picks and 1 2nd picks for that is a higher price than it probably needed to be. Either 2 1sts or a 1st & a 2nd would have made more sense.
Deion couldnt... but he can?

If this kid ends up being a star like they think then the trade was worth it, If he isn't great they are going to look like total fools. IF he plays both positions (not all snaps) in games and a good player on both then the value is totally worth it.
Both of you are short sighted. He was the best player in this draft and also add instant star power to the Jaguars. If he doesn't work out you have a point but it's impossible to say without playing a snap. If he splits snaps at both receiver and cb, we got 2 players in one pick and I would call that great value. He has first round skills on botch sides of the ball and is a real unicorn. Lets wait and see.
Also a big factor. Before Travis Hunter, the Jaguars have 0 star power and no reason for outside fans to watch. Now people want to watch the Jags play because we have a big name.

That is what I thought , what a stupid trade

[BLEEP] those people.
That's what those people said about not putting a team here.
That's what those people said when the Ga(y)tors were winning.
That's what they said concerning moving the team to L.A.
That's what those people said about Tebow.
That's what those people said about Lawrence.
Iit's been 31 years now
The Jags are still here
Where are those people?
[BLEEP] you for believing them. This is Duval.

Exactly. Regardless if Travis wants to play both sides full-time, it don’t matter. It’s what the coaches want. Most of all, his agent will calm that playing both sides crap down. They would have to pay him $100 million per year and that ain’t hatten’
If he has a career ending injury because he over did it, the franchise would never be forgiven.

That would be wild. Deion would be taking Liam’s spot after 1 season if this happens.

The Fact that we traded up to draft T12 says alot about our New Establishment's envisions. And here we go towards an successful future.

Jaguars trade back with Lions in round 3, which allows the Jaguars to gain more picks.
Jaguars are targeting a specific player.

The more time goes by, the more I see where they're coming from. The draft feels weak. Graham is eh.. I didn't realize kid won the belitnikoff! That's not a guarantee but that says a lot for a kid who was playing full time on the other side of the ball.
I still don't like the PRICE but if we naturally had 2 and we picked hunter I'd be elated. Thus will all come down to next year. Next year if we're in the final 8 picks because of playoff performance, Gladstone will look like a boy wonder. If we're in the top ten he'll look dilly and if we have to replace teec he should be fired

One thing not mentioned is that this draft class is thin and the following years class will be too. By 2027 the NIL will have sorted itself out. It was a hefty price to pay but it will be worth it in the long run. We definitely need an Edge rusher at some point.
