I'm super impressed so far. I mean I know he's a talent but usually guys who are paid a lot in FA take plays off and don't try as hard as they once did. I was especially concerned because he said money was the main reason he came here. No bones about it. However this guy has been a menace in camp and in his pre-season debut. He brings the pressure and actually seems like he fits in this defense better than what Wade Phillips ran.
He wants the entire 90 million. I hope he earns it. That will be good for him and the team.
The NFL is about the money. I laugh when people say "oh he's not the type that will hold out" they do what their agents suggest.
But I hope he earns another contract down the line.
Jackson may turn out to be the best free agent the Jaguars ever sign. Everybody made a big deal when Vernon went elsewhere, but I preferred Jackson if they ended up with just one of them. Once Fowler gets some experience, these 2 guys should create havoc for most offensive lines. Add in Gipson and Prince and Caldwell gets an A+ for this free agent class.

You might want to wait until they actually play some games before you make these kind of declarations.
