Business as usual because presidents are irrelevant

Quote:Did you know before we invaded Afghanistan the Taliban and Pakistan had largely eliminated the opium crop?

Why is keeping troops in peaceful Westernized countries 70 years after the war a good idea?

Russia is not hostile to us. It's total propaganda from neocon war hawks. http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2016/08/pro-nuclear-war-party.html

You seem to hate the concept of peace, JIB. Most of your answers are for endless war.

Why should the American people constantly provide money and weapons to other sovereign countries?

Germany is the world leader in solar and they are at a higher latitude than most of the US. Decentralizing our energy production is good. Relying on imports or fracking is bad.

So spending millions to decommission and destroy carriers (with massive pollution a result) is better than spending the money to help people who really need it?

You seem to hate the concept of peace, JIB. Most of your answers are for endless war. Sounds like Hillary is your girl.

Did you just post an op-Ed as some kind of fact based on foreign policy?

Semantic content = 0. At least make a joke or something if you can't follow along with the grownups.

It's an op-Ed. You know basically toilet paper.

But maybe you should tell everybody how Sandy Hook didn't happen. Or how the Holocaust was fake again! Grown-up my gluteus.
Indy got triggered. Most people are afraid of those subjects. Are you? It's just words on a page. Grownups gather information and make up their own minds.

It goes to credibility. And you lack any of it.

So when you post an op-Ed and try real hard to make it sound as truth is very stupid ( As your idol) would say.

But why should I be suprised from a holocaust denier.
I'll be sure to post a trigger warning for scary sites like the Wall Street Journal.

Holocaust? Third rail. You don't wanna step on it.

Whack job conspiracy theories.

Which one? They all seem to overlap. You wanna do holocaust, start a new thread and post what you know. I'm always eager to learn.

Would you clarify your actual position?
Why would the Taliban destroy the thing that pays for their existence?
Quote:Why would the Taliban destroy the thing that pays for their existence?

The Taliban were strictly anti-drug even though opium is the only cash crop in Afghanistan. Since the U.S. got there and largely drove the Taliban into Pakistan, the Taliban has survived partly by processing raw opium, The Bush administration had an eradication program but Obama did not renew the contract.

US policy changed to permit opium growing and the heroin trade during Obama’s first year in office, as a way to minimize US troop casualties in Afghanistan. And to maximize US civilian casualties in the US from heroin.

The CIA defines blowback as the ‘consequences at home of operations overseas’.

Since ending US eradication efforts, US heroin deaths shot up from 3,036 (2010) to 4,397 (2011) to 5,925 (2012) to 8,260 (2013) to 10,574 in 2014. The heroin death toll continues to shoot up as does the number of heroin users, from the 1,500,000 US heroin users in 2010 to 4,500,000 heroin users in 2015. As heroin deaths under Obama tripled, so has heroin usage.

There were 7,600 hectares of Afghan opium poppies when the War in Afghanistan began in 2001. (1 hectare = 2.5 US acres.) By 2009, there were 123,000 hectares. In 2014, Afghan poppy fields spread to 224,000 hectares resulting in a bumper crop of 6,400 tons of opium, enough to make 640,000 kilograms of heroin thanks to Obama. Opium yields far greater profit than foods like wheat or corn, so opium production will continue to rise without serious eradication efforts.

The Taliban's post-2001 resurgence has partially been financed by narcotics production and trafficking, though Mullah Omar issued injunctions against opium production, and the Taliban eradicated much of the poppy crop during its rule.

Start a new thread and I'll be happy to research the subject and post what I find. It's not a subject I have looked at closely. I listed it as an example of political correctness. In Germany you can be arrested for challenging the official narrative. There seems to be a universal adhesion to the number 6 million and I would probably begin any research on the subject by finding how that number was attained.
Aren't you the same guy that said you'll discuss what you want in the current thread because that's where the discussion is, when someone else told you to start a new thread?

Was that you? Or was that another poster?

How about Sandy Hook?

Was that the Trump 2nd Amendment thread? I was still talking about gun issues.

I'd love to discuss it with you. All my research is complete on that subject. Nobody died. Start a new thread if you want more.

No, it was about a month or two ago.

Oh well, never mind. It doesn't really matter.

It's a big country and not every province seems to have the same rules.

Trust me, people died in the Sandy Hook shootings. This I am certain. Please stop doing whatever it is you are "doing" here.
