I mean it's not like that was bad coverage by Mccray only bad plays are those double coverage busts and and the 2 kick off returns

Thats all on Myers. There is zero excuse for not kicking it in the back of the end zone. They moved it even further this season. Twice he put it right for the kick returner and twice the special teams was got off guard. Myers sucks, he flat out sucks. That is ridiculous. Its a chip shot to the back of the end zone.

Thats not on kick coverage, Myers has got to put that in the back of the end zone. THEY MOVED IT UP. How is he not putting that in the back on the end zone. 

I just dont know what they see in Meyers.

Looks like a great scenario for him to step up and be the man backing up Blake and the Jags.

So 1st team vs 1st team Jax wins. We blew some coverages but we are also missing Gipson and Ramsey. Those coverage mistakes are fixable.


The run game looks much improved, both Yeldon and Ivory look good.


ARob is ARob, Lee looking good.


Special teams coverage needs work. A lot of work.


Gus sounds a lot more business than he used too. Which is good.

What kind of adjustments does Gus make for the 2nd half

You know they coach them (kickers) to leave it short sometimes in preseason to give the coverage team work that they can get on film.

I heard they were talking about experimenting with kicking it short to try to get them stopped before the 20

If thats the case I stand corrected, but I dont know. Either way, zero excuse for giving up 130 yards on two kick returns.

Maybe the coaches instructed him to kick it short so they can work on kick coverage?

yes cut him so Ficken can kick it to the 10 yard line; but it's a chip shot so anyone can do it!

and people were arguing about who the back up qb should be...like it mattered

Eh, 10-7. Most of our starting defense was still out there when they picked up the 7.
