If it's owned free and clear, yes.  Otherwise, you'd just add the equity in the home to your net worth (or subtract it as the case may be for some).  You would not use real estate holdings in a Liquid Net Worth calculation, however.

Spending most of your life in public service can net you three large homes?  And arent most of the wealthiest and fast growing counties in America all surrounding the DC area?  Sigh, I should have gone into gov't.
