Definitely don't agree with some, but this list does prove what we already knew...FSU's football program>>>Florida.

This list is embarrassingly bad. O_o
They didn't go back far enough.  Pitt has 11 Championships (including 3 under Coach Glenn "Pop" Warner).

1910 • 1915 • 1916 • 1918 • 1929 • 1931 • 1936 • 1937 • 1976 • 1980 • 1981
Glad they didn't count all of Bama's fake titles.

This stat was pretty amazing:

From Nov. 3, 1980-Oct. 26, 2008, Alabama was only ranked No. 1 once _ the final poll of the 1992 season.

I'd rather have Bama's 10 titles than Ohio State's 5 any time.

Why?

Don't they claim more then that?

I still think Miami should be higher then FSU based on all time. I'd like to see the full criteria and formula used.

Looking at the list i would put them at five or six. From the website, "To determine the all-time Top 25, the AP formula counted poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (two points) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for AP championships (10 points)"
Bunk ranking system. Michigan shouldn't be anywhere near the top. Florida nor Florida state should be higher than Miami.. The real determining factor is how many championships do you have... then everything else should determine the ranking among teams with equal or no championships.

Miami doesn't win anything when they aren't cheating.
Notre Dame is the best college football team of all time.  Alabama is second.

That's not how it works.
Confused Jags fans will never understand greatness. You have to win to understand what winning takes. Most of you have absorbed so much losing while marinating in a stadium of failure that all you know is mediocrity. Michigan should be somewhere around 10 or 11.

I'm not sure you should be lecturing anyone about what greatness is since Miami's greatness is so far gone.

But hey, I'm sure the History Channel is fixing to run another marathon of games from 30 years ago when Miami was actually good.
It's ok Big John... when FSU loses to Ole Miss in few weeks.. I'll be waiting on your excuse with a dancing banana. Banana

It's really sad that this is what it's come to for Miami fans. Rooting vicariously through other teams to beat FSU because duh U can't anymore.

Get all your talk in now because it's a Miami fan's favorite time of year...the offseason. We won't hear you talking much once the actual games are played.

For the love of heaven!  There is no "state" in Ohio University and which one of you photo shopped the poisonous nut on top of the Bobcat?

If UGA isn't No. 1 that list is invalid.

Michigan is 1st all time in total wins and 2nd all time in total winning percentage. They certainly deserve a spot in the top 10.
