Robinson is my favorite player, but realistically I don't have him top 5 yet. Brown, Julio, and Green are all ahead of him based on track record alone. I'd give a slight edge to Hopkins right now, but think Arob has more potential. I can't stand Beckham, but he is slightly right now based on production. Dez and Jordy have proven more, but are coming off injury so realistically I rank Robinson right there with them along with Demaryius and Brandon Marshall in the 5-10 range.
Quote:Landry is way over hyped. He averages like 8 yards a catch.
actually I just looked it up he was 5th in the NFL in Yac in 2015. Danny Woodhead was number 1.

In 2015 Landry had 110 catches for 1,157 yds for an average of 10.5. Are you telling me 10.5 yard per catch was 5th in the league?

I thinks he means fifth in yac average not ypc
Quote:Green had 86, 1297, 10td
I still think Robinson going into his 3rd season will become the best WR in football.
OBJ doesn't like contact and he plays Josh Norman twice per year and possibly 3 in the playoffs.
But I'll calm down now.
My lord. He's not on OBJ or Julio or ABs level. Relax.
Hopkins just walked off the practice field about a contract dispute. So that won't help him gel with his new QB. So he is off my list as of now.
Brown is going to miss Bryant to take those double teams. So his production may take a slight dip.
Green was below Robinson last season.
So as of now
Julio Jones
Antonio Brown
Allen Robinson
Brandon Marshall won't have 14 TDS again this year. There's just no way.

Cocaine is a heck of a drug.

Brown's eats double teams up Wheaton is more if a threat than Bryant Is

Shocked people aren't agreeing with you? You're just making up things to start new topics.
ARob had one good season. I love ARob and think he will be one of the best Jags ever. But he is not on the elite level yet. Dez, AB, and Julio have been doing it for a while now.
Robinson will be all pro this year. Get mad cletus.

Hahaha yup. I'll definitely be mad when one of our players makes All-Pro. You got me dude!

Truce.
I know Arob ain't elite yet.
Ar15 will be elite some day but I guarantee if he has a similar week one to last year in Carolina 90% of these poons will scream bust/scrub just like last year but I agree with cleatus he isn't on that ab aj julio level yet where he's catch in 10-15 passes damn near every week
Idk how Hopkins contract dispute makes him a lesser receiver lol
AB is going to eat those double teams, and even if his production takes a dip from last years 1800/10 Hes still most likely above arob in yardage and depending on how our redzone looks they could match double digit tds.
Nothing needs to be said about Julio and OBJ.
Then you add AJ Green/BMarsh/Dez if he returns to form and plenty of other receivers with the upside to make the leap. AB/Odell/Julio/Hopkins is the top 4 right now and the rest is wide open, anyone could jump into that top 5 with them

You mentioned receivers with upside to make the leap. Amari Cooper could for sure make a huge leap this year, and wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Sammy, Amari, and Evans are the 3 im mostly thinking of. And a far out one that i dont think will come true this year but eventually is Josh Gordon. We all saw what he can do and if he gets back to that, look out.
Quote:My lord. He's not on OBJ or Julio or ABs level. Relax.
His play-style and his physique does not mirror OBJ or AB, so he shouldn't be compared to them. I think he can be just as good, if not better than Julio in the future.

I've always seen him as a Brandon Marshall clone. He even wears #15!
The debate for #2 can go on forever, but for the top spot nobody is touching Julio.
