A tweet based on absolutely nothing
If we're trading up I hope it's for the #1 spot so we can get Garrett.
As for Thomas, I have to wonder why the Jaguars still haven't brought him in for an interview. It almost seems like they don't want him.

Don't shoot the messenger man.
I know a lot of people don't have twitter so I'm just posting things I see.
Can't see us taking that trade up. If the 49ers are willing to move out of #2 I think we'd take our chances that Thomas makes it to #4.

Lets add a question mark to the thread title next time
No thanks, Garrett is the only play in this draft I would trade up for
It makes a lot more sense than Carolina trading to jump us for Fournette.

This. I'd be OK with them them trading up for Garret (within reason). But the only hope for that is if Cleveland's infatuation with draft picks is bigger than we thought it was.
I don't know if the Jaguars want Thomas or not, but I'm not bending over backwards for him myself. I want elite pass rush that high, not sure I'm seeing that with him.
If we aren't getting Garrett we shouldn't be spending picks.
I like Thomas but do I think he is worth a 2nd and 3rd for, based on draft pick valuation chart? Heck no. He isn't that much better than the players we can grab at 4.

Thought I did.
Let me just go jump off a bridge now.
I would only trade up for Garrett personally.

Did Fournette sleep with your girl?

Probably getting that from here. But in that scenario we would win. But the issue with that is would san fran or chicago drop all the way down to 8? And in that mock Watson go to Cleveland at 7.
Which wouldn't surprise me. I am a firm believer Watson will go in top 10. Regardless of the boards views. He is just that good.

The 49ers need a LB bigtime so I totally understand the trade down for Reuben Foster.

A Forbes article mentioning the Panthers talking to SF about number 2
I don't think you draft a player that high, just so he doesn't start.
That high of a pick needs to be an instant starter on the team.
