I'll be there opening weekend. UCLA-A&M on sat and then notre dame-Texas on sunday! Have never been to either. Should be awesome!

Anybody here planning on tailgating somewhere they've never been this college football season?
Wow ..... that's going to be a great weekend in Texas !!!

Son enrolls @ Georgia Tech this fall so we'll be heading up to tailgate on Oct 1 vs The U.

I thought about going to Orlando w/ friends for the FSU v Ole Miss game but it's on a Monday so I'll most likely watch it at Pussers in PVB.

Yea I'm looking forward to it.  Notre Dame's getting a lot of preseason hype.  I'm sure Texas will be fired up.  Should be good.  And UCLA-A&M may end up being the better game.

Have you been to GaTech before?  It's a surprisingly decent tailgate scene.  Last time I went was a thursday night game against VaTech I believe.  Were people tailgating all over campus.  And the frats were pretty friendly.  Vandy is playing there early this season so I'll be there for a game as well.

Are you from SF?  I was just in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood a couple weekends ago.  Was cool.  There is tshirt shop that sells all sorts of vintage sports shirts.  They had a Jacksonville Suns w/ the old logo.  And even had the defunct Jacksonville Beach Sea Birds tshirt.  Kinda cool.

Yes, a couple of years ago I went to the Clemson @ GaTech game.  GaTech won after Watson went out with an injury and the backup QB threw 2 pick 6's.    Tailgate scene was surprisingly decent; very clean, active, and everyone getting a good buzz in a very domestic manner.  The band march to the stadium was also pretty cool.

Regarding Haight-Ashbury, we went out to SF last summer and visited the district.  SF was extremely fascinating and we did out to visit the Haight-Ashbury district.  I've been to 29 Grateful Dead shows during the Jerry era so it was definitely a pilgrimage for me.   I don't recall coming across the t-shirt shop that carried Jax gear but that is pretty cool.    Those hills in SF are sooo steep --- I thought the car I was driving up hill was going to flip over backwards.  I can't wait to get back out there but I gotta admit, I don't miss the $7 beers.
