Looks like it according to his column; he says he isn't going back to Green Bay. Although though he will answer Ask Vic once a week still. So maybe semi-retirement?
Either way, sad to see his role declining. I thoroughly enjoyed his writing.

we must have read it at the same time. I think I submitted my final ask vic question.
"I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have taught me. I started reading your column when I was deployed in Iraq and couldn't watch any games. I learned more about scheme and execution than I ever could watching the cover 2 nonsense on TV. I can now tell when a team is losing even when they have the lead. I know why it is important to mow our lawns. I no longer scream at the tv when my team loses. I can appreciate an opponents players even when they hurt my team. You have given me perspective on why I love this game as much as do. Ten years I have been an avid supporter of your column and today I am sad to learn another of the dinosaurs is leaving us. One small request, please write a book. 100 yards of confrontation, not for the faint of heart."
Vic needs his own "bring him home" thread.
I have a feeling the helicopter ride he had a couple of weeks ago was probably the last straw for him. He's had multiple heart attacks now and his health is probably his primary focus right now for him and his family. I'll miss Vic and wish him the best. He's made me appreciate football in a way I otherwise never would have. He's one of the last of a dying breed.

I've been featured in 2 ask vic columns. One was a question after the superbowl about someone putting 12 men on the field to waste time but not allow completions because the penalty doesn't reset the clock. I forgot what the other question I had that he answered was.
Break the O-zone Curse and
BRING
HIM
HOME!!!!!!
