I saw this tweet today. And got me wondering if this indeed happened hat would he be worth if you were the GM?

a good set of picks easy

but if they cant get a deal why would i trade for him when i could just wait for him to hit the market lol
I'd probably consider 2 firsts and 2 thirds and possibly conditional late rounds.

Only if he signs a multi year deal, at least 5 years.
A one and a three. Exactly what he can be had for next year on the open market.

Id give up Lee and a first and a second in 2018 draft
I'd definitely give up a 1st and a 3rd assuming there is enough caproom for Bortles, ARob, Linder, and Telvin.

Not going to lie but a front 7 of Fowler, Jackson, Miller, Odrik, Telvin, Poz/Jack, and Miller would be nasty.

The cap room for the upcoming extensions is what I was worried about also

Jackson and Odrick won't be getting extensions anytime soon, and Von Miller would presumably have agreed to a contract before arrival. Roy Miller is, let's be honest, pretty replaceable. Strong side linebacker is a cheap fix, and could be handled by a Skuta-level player with Telvin and Jack holding down the other two spots. Telvin and Fowler are a couple years away from new contracts anyway, and Jack's a rookie. Poz is entering his final season, and my guess is that Jack takes over in the middle next year.

Bortles' extension is the one that scares me, but there are enough well-paid backups on this team (Marcedes, Marks, Alualu, Joeckel) that could be cut loose to create some wiggle room if it's needed.

Caldwell was going to dish out a boatload of money for Vernon so I'm sure he had that in mind.
I'd say a testicle, but they're both still being used..
If I'm Caldwell I'd be calling them to get a feel for what they'd want for him.
1st and 3rd in 2017 and DE Ryan Davis for Von if he accepts a long term (5 yr.) extension.

Do the Jags change up their defensive scheme with Von in the lineup? He mostly plays over the right tackle where we normally have a big end, Odrick.

Would Von be the OTTO?

hypothetically if we had von idk how we dont switch to a 3-4

leo
Von could easily play OTTO seeing how he is no slouch in coverage. I feel like he would play OTTO on first and second down and then move to LEO on 3rd or in the Nickel.

Even if you give one up, you'd still have 2, wouldn't you?

That's normal, right?

I would give up Punter, Kicker, and all picks in the 6th & 7th rounds for the next 2 years
