I use the latter of your post as a better metric of how good a corner is than how many INTs he gets. Turnovers are nice obviously, but if he's keeping the guy in front of him from hauling in passes, I'm good with that as well.

I did and I feel he did good not great. I feel that a lot of the problems with the defense, including Jalen, were due to communication issues.

Ints would be nice but I would just be happy if he cuts back on the amount of TDs given up

Unless you are Deion Sanders. Quarterbacks simply refused to throw his way ever, so the only thing he could do was play further and further off his receiver on purpose with the sole intent of baiting them to throw to his guy. The crazy thing was that almost every time a qb took the bait, he'd close in an instant catching the ball in front of the WR before racing for another TD. He was like Randy Moss as far as being able to consistently come down with any balls thrown his way.
