E3 2016 is over. So what new games (announced at E3 or not) are you most looking forward to?
Games I'm most looking forward to:
Persona 5
World of Final Fantasy
Dishonored 2
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
The Walking Dead Season 3
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Remaster
Harvest Moon: Skytree Village
River City: Toyko Rumble
Persona 5 is easily my most anticipated game. Though World of Final Fantasy looks good, even though it's in a style I don't normally like. I grew up on Final Fantasy, and it just looks pretty awesome to me.
Supergiant Games is working on third game called Pyre. I've only seen a teaser trailer for it but I loved their first two games so I can't wait to play this one as well.
I'm highly skeptical of No Man's Sky but looking forward to seeing how it turns out all the same.
Skyrim Remaster
RE7 looks pretty neat
FFVII remake

Same
Days Gone looks good. I'm a little zombied out, but it looks pretty solid, and the size of the hordes are ridiculous
I'm looking forward several game already mentioned, but another one is South Park: The Fractured but Whole. I really liked the first game and it looks like they improved the combat in this one.
Watch_Dogs II mostly and Final Fantasy XV as well as the Final Fantasy XII remaster for the PS4 sometime next year too. I was debating on getting the Skyrim remaster this year but I am content with Skyrim for PC at the moment. I just started playing Watch_Dogs today after not playing for it awhile. It's not that bad of a game. I like it more than Grand Theft Auto V as far as the story telling goes. Hopefully the 2nd installment delivers.
LOZ: Breath of Wild caught my attention. I haven't been a huge fan of Nintendo for years. I think the last time I was truly heavily invested in Nintendo was with the N64 back in the 90s. I had a Wii for a minute. But I grew up and Nintendo, to it's credit, didn't. They still stuck it out with the healthy kid friendly diet of the various Mario type games. But after finding out that this new Zelda installment I believe is roughly 7x or 9x as large as Skyrim is MAP wise. It grabbed my attention. I might actually dig around the new Nintendo console for a few others title I might like, maybe even convince the misses into playing on it so I can have an excuse to get this game.
I'm pretty interested in whatever the heck Death Stranding is about.
I am looking forward another year of watching other people play great story driven shooters. Might pick up God of War.

Is it still going to be a forced perspective game or will they actually allow the camera to pan around? You know, like
every other game in existence!

It looks like it's going to be a tough to play game if it's forced perspective. The view looks a little different to the previous installments to me. I agree with you though. I just need a good hack and slash game. I miss DMC 2 and 3

You ever try Ninja Gaiden? One of my favorite Hack and Slashers. That, and the Darksiders series. Those were enjoyable on a kind of low key level.

I think you spelled Dark Souls wrong?
I kid.... I played the OG when I was young on NES but nothing since then. Darksiders looks interesting. I might need to check that out.

I went straight for Bloodborne but once I get that game finished I think I'm going to give the Dark Souls series a try.

I am definitely in the "casual" gamer class. I enjoy playing games when I have the time. Maybe an hour or so at a time and trend towards games like DMC or the Arkham games. I picked up Dark Souls 2 on a recommendation and rage quite 2 hours in never to pick it up again.
I like story over gameplay so I gravitate towards the Telltale games as of late. I am terrible at shooters so I watch people play them on youtube because the best stories are in shooters.
