I've been hammered, but not so hammered I mistook a $100 bil for a $1

Tough call. He bit off more than he could chew. Maybe he was trying to impress his friends that night like an idiot. I'd cut him a break though as the business owner and spot the waitress or waiter that picked up the table that night a $100 in fairness. 

"Dude, that was a $10. You are so far beyond drunk. Go home."
