I have read before that yes they are. I am sure, at least for the time being it will stay up.

 

I think Disney will come up with something that will protect both any gators that get into the lakes and the guests. I am guessing some sort of dock system where guests can still enjoy the water and not have to worry about the gators. They will be there, always have, always will. One thing they need to monitor close is that guests not feed or throw anything to or at the Gators. 

Not real fences, they look like 3 line barbed wire but are made of rope.


They added netting over night.
