Anyway, I saw a little of the Ecuador vs Haiti match. Ecuador was really aggressive and attacking with speed as opposed to being very "possession obsessed".
If they play that way all the time, it could really pose a problem for the US. Brooks and Guzman will definitely need to be on their "A" Game against them (although those two were outstanding vs Paraguay).

Dude, the Ponte Vedra High School soccer team (FL State Champs) could look really good against Haiti.

Quote:Seriously? What's the reasoning with that? It's not as important as WC Qualifiers and the WC, is that why?Supposedly injury concerns for Oscar, one of their best players. Heck their coach didn't even want to bring Neymar. Wanted him to play in the Olympics only.

UNF men's soccer team got outclassed by the Armada who feature a couple of Haitians and the Armada is terrible.
A whole squad of Haitians would dismantle an unprofessional squad with relative ease.

And the club, country, and Neymar came to an agreement that it would be in his best interest to play in the Olympics where his country is hosting it.
But you can bet your butt that Dunga wanted him in the lineup for Copa… And now Dunga is out of a job.

So I'm going to the next match (game?), what do I need to know?
Besides the ball goes in the net.

Quote:So I'm going to the next match (game?), what do I need to know? You going to tonight's game? If yes....It's a US Open Cup game. They are competing for the "Lamar Hunt" Trophy. It's a tournament in which all the pro/semi pro clubs compete. It's a huge tournament that takes a bit of time to complete. Tonight they will be playing Orlando City SC, an MLS team (young MLS) squad. The Armada beat them in the pre-season and I don't think that pleased OCSC at all, even with a B level team on the field, so I am sure they're out to prove a point. This is the 2nd game in the tourney for the Armada, but 3rd or 4th round so far into the tourney.

I was pretty excited when I found out the game would be in Seattle too. Great atmosphere out there. I love watching Seattle-Portland games, (and Portland-Seattle games for that matter). Both places are awesome soccer atmospheres. Big home field advantage here.

I really like Bradley, but sometimes his passes look very slow and weak (lazy, if you will). Although, I'll admit his passes looked crisp and sharp the last game.

I still say Ecuador's attacking style looked very good the other day (even though it was Haiti,, point taken). US defense needs to "bring it".

^yeah,, that one surely stings for the next match. Can't really argue with it though. He went to the face of the Ecuador player, and that's automatic now. Sux though.
Wood getting his second yellow might be a back breaker. Wood has looked really good lately.
Getting to the Semi-s is awesome. Hope the US continues to play with alot of fire and energy! They're going to need it.

What'd you think of the game/atmosphere? It looked like a pretty good crowd from TV, and the atmosphere I'd imagine was a blast to be a part of. Definitely an entertaining game.
