You know? I don't agree with The Eleventh Doctor much, but in this case I do. It's suggestions not auto-correct. In this new generation of minions being on their cell phones at any moment that they can, they expect everything just "given" to them that they want (Gee, sounds kind of like a Bernie Sanders supporter, but I digress). If you want to search for something, just type it all in. It's not that difficult.
If you don't like how a certain program or application works you have two choices. Either find one that works the way that you want, or develop and write your own program/applicacion yourself.
Me personally, I use google most of the time because it is probably the best search engine that I've come across.

You have totally missed the point of this thread apparently. Call it autocorrect, autocomplete, or suggestions, I meant it all the same. Regardless, I already switched from Google. They are free to do whatever they want.
You are totally fine with a prolific global enterprise that impacts billions on this planet taking sides in the US presidential elections in the form of censorship. That is fine. I don't think its a good thing from an ethics perspective, personally.

Lying Ted was a classic, surprised it wasnt higher. Little Marco was the most popular, when you put it in the trends...which makes sense, since it was a first ballot HOF name.

When he called Trump "Big Donald" during a debate I nearly died of laughter.

IF they are intentionally doing something like that, then I agree that it's wrong from an ethical point of view. I wouldn't exactly call it "censorship" though. After all, you can actually type in exactly what you are searching for and get good results. They aren't blocking you from doing so. If they were, then it would be "censorship". They are only "suggesting" that they know what you are searching for and try to save you from the precious second or two that it takes to type in your query.

Ago searches with anything other than google? Why on earth would you do that? Maybe the kind of people who don't use google align more with the kind of people who search 'crooked Hilary'? Mostly idiots.

I use Google and I don't need it to tell me that Hilldog is crooked. That's pretty self evident.

GOOGLE CENSORSHIP ON TRUMP
"Since the beginning of Trump’s presidential run, it has been extremely difficult to find pro Donald Trump news and updates. Even though there are established websites that favor Trump, their favorable articles never seem to work their way up into the top of Google search results. Why is this?\
Since beginning REGATED by introducing a Republican unity article, our own analysis team has incessantly struggled to find supportive Donald Trump news on our Google searches — so we decided to look into it; we had to make sure we weren’t crazy before throwing some interesting news into the mix. We employed our own, Victor Smith, to do some research on the matter. He compiled the results into a video, and the outcome was actually pretty surprising. Take a look:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_conti...LK2YgLO0q4
What does this prove? That most of the represented Donald Trump articles found on Google paint him in a negative light, while most of the Hillary Clinton articles that were shown, approvingly support her.
Now, you might be thinking that this is a huge conspiracy theory. But here’s some evidence that will make you rethink that: Over the past seven years, Google has been intertwined with and created an unprecedented partnership with Obama’s White House — providing expertise, services, advice, and personnel for vital government projects. Yes, that’s correct. Google is an integral part of Obama’s administration. Just how integral, though? "

Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, claims Clinton has allied with Google:
"Google is directly engaged with Hillary Clinton’s campaign," Assange said via video link at the international media forum "New Era of Journalism: Farewell to Mainstream" hosted by Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
"What we have with Clinton is someone who is a hawk but who has the tools of legal interventionism, a rhetorical cover to start the wars, and someone who seemingly wants to start them… From WikiLeaks’ perspective Hillary Clinton is a problem in terms of war and peace," Assange said.

Facebook edits it's "trending" sidebar. That's about the same level of censorship as Google's editing it's auto-fill feature.
