Making fun of the Jags is like using puns, lowest form of comedy, not a lot of upper level thinking needed

I don't mind a cheap shot once in a while.

You know what's funny? After reading this thread, I can truly say I can agree with EVERYONE.

I'm gonna plop him with a relish covered hotdog. All game that stankin [BLEEP] relish is gonna be all up in his nostrils. It's all he will be able to think about. He will fly out of Jax with a beat down and a stankin [BLEEP] head of relish stank. Booooyaaaa!!!

From the real numbers department again, I note that the Jaguars are tied for third over the last decade for games lost by 7 points or less...

And yes, I realise that's unfair - he's clearly just talking about the recent years when we've been bad. Oh look, tied for second in those games over the last three years...

I assume this stat rules out the good teams that lose a lot less times than the Jags. Heck, if you lose 13 games per season, the chances of losing by less than 7 are a lot greater than a team that actually wins games, right?

Working out percentages of games lost by given margins requires more than mobile access to the stats, which is all I had. But that shouldn't be relevant to the question of losses by large margins. If you follow that through, the Jaguars should be leading across the range of point differentials and they're not - they're skewed very much to small losses.

And now that I've got more than mobile access, I worked out that the Jaguars were about 20th for percentage of their losses that were by a score or less. Still a long way from the worst in the league.

As a counterpoint, it's easier to score against an opposing defense that is playing "prevent" to burn clock and sealing an assured victory.

Not really a counterpoint - that would apply to all teams equally.

Quote:Bennett has always been an idiot, you can easily tell 3 things:
He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is
He has no class whatsoever
Dude is not very bright
These are Michael Bennett's stronger points!
I rather my team lose than having Michael Bennett and/ or his brother on the roster.
