Is anyone watching this today?
I'm going for a United win, 3-1.
Yep, watched the entire game as my son is a big CP fan. They played a near perfect game (as they underdog) then blew it right after taking the lead late in the game (78th minute) !!!
Very little consolation though for Man U as they fired their coach after the game

Jose at Man Utd is going to be a failure.

There is an old saying that you're at your most vunerable straight after you've scored a goal (jubilation, emotions etc..) - This was a perfect example of that.

So true and so obvious in that situation.
They should have taken some time to discuss their defensive strategy and what manner they were going to attack (if any). They looked confused and somewhat scrambled during those few minutes leading up to the Man U goal.

There's no real break for big soccer fans anyway... This weekend we have the Champions League Final, and all of the Playoff Finals to determine who moves up a league.. then in 2 1/2 weeks the European Championships start, followed by Europa League Qualifying then the regular season..

I'm pulling for Hull City. When in doubt, I root for the coastal team.

Very cool -- I just did a google maps tour of Swindon. Actually, looks like a nice place to live -- close enough to get to London but far enough to create a neighborhood atmosphere. I'll root for them next season !!

Funnily enough, I live about 70 miles away from Swindon now, in a Village called Fair Oak, Near Southampton (google it)...
Swindon was in the top 10 'crap' towns in England... down to the unemployment rate, and lack of facilities.. here's their stadium..
