Quote:THANK YOU!!!!!! Especially the medical research part.
I disagree.
Grant money is responsible for many of greatest medical achievements in the US.

There may be some breakthroughs, but most of the money goes to wasted effort. For example, the guy who solved the human genome did so in two years on private funding while the government funded effort was still going on after 10 years of spending.
The government allocates funding with cronyism being a major factor. In private research, failure quickly ends funding.

Are you trying to argue there's a big difference between money from the government and money from private foundations?
I would argue both monies are green, probably $USD and most likely have presidents' faces on them.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, one is given, the other is "redistributed." The second one is tantamount to legalized theft, but you know that already, you just enjoy your role as leftist shill.

It is comical how the Mexico will pay part is being ignored.
Whether medical funding and infrastructure is the Feds job or not...they still supply funding in one way or another.
If not, why would there be cuts in these areas? In order to get the start on this wall...which is as easy as repeal and replacing ACA was.
Except, I wonder..and I'm not privy to info such as....with emininet domain being used, how much, at what cost. What about the Rio Grande. Border crashers can still swim. I'm sure the wall won't be built in the middle of the river, much less on our side and give up half of the water to Mexico. Proposals are for 6 feet into the ground...can't they dig 7 foot tunnels? It boils down to constant monitoring. I'm fine with that, but at what cost? What do we lose in order to stop the coyotes?
It's not as simple, and our leader is finding that out.
Maybe start with a pentagon audit before dumping more funds into that money pit.
