Was tough for me to pick between Garrett and Fournett, went with Myles though and gonna move Fowler to Sam and will be moved around a lot.

Move Linder to LG, Pocic starts at C, and a potential freak TE in Hodges, and a RB prospect up there with Gurley and Elliot.  Love this draft.  No QB but gives Bortles a lot more help and this would be his last year to prove he is the QB of the future.  If not then the following year draft a QB and he would have a ton of weapons.

I'm okay with almost all of that, but I don't want Chad Kelly anywhere near this team.
Shores up the defense with an upgrade to House and another pass rusher.

Adds a QB to compete with Allen and Bortles.

Adds a highly rated interior lineman, a RB with vision and a top rated FB to help the run game. (Cole also has started at LT)

Plus a good depth OT. (there's a cut-up of LT Myers against ohio st on you tube - he's a good project)

I hope we don't pass up the opportunity to get either cook or fournette, I think they're once in a generation dudes, and I personally would rather have cook but we haven't had an elite running back since mid and Freddy, and they made the difference in a whole bunch of games for us
I have lain my hands to the machine and what resulted was thus:

3: R1P3: EDGE - MYLES GARRETT - Texas A&M

35: R2P3: TE - BUCKY HODGES - Virginia Tech

67: R3P3: C - PAT ELFLEIN - OHIO STATE

106: R4P3: LB - KENDELL BECKWITH - LSU

145: R5P3: DL - LARRY OGUNJOBI - CHARLOTTE

182: R6P3: RB - JAMES CONNER - PITTSBURGH

221: R7P3: G - DANNY ISIDORA - MIAMI (FLA.)

Things I like: I got what might be the best player available in Garrett, replaced Lewis with Hodges, beefed up the line, got some good LB depth and added all around talent in Rounds 5 - 7.

Things I didn't like: No premier DL beef and we need a replacement for Miller. Beckwith may never be able to hold down a starting spot. Can Elflein play Guard? Where does Conner fit in the backfield rotation?

Fixed the run game with Robinson sliding in at RT and the addition of a true C slides Linder back to G. Plus a TE who is a great blocker and a receiving threat. (add a FB in UDFA or veteran free agency) Also added a very good RB.

Load up on defensive positions in the back half to add depth and competition to areas of uncertainty (safety, LB, edge)

In free agency we let Henne go, add another veteran.

Allen, veteran, and Bortles will compete for QB.

I think we dip into veteran free agency to add another DB (House might not be working out)
If Linder is playing like a top 5 center we would replace him with another center why?..

I did all of the rounds. Pretty fun. This is my results.

<div style="font-size:26px;">3: R1P3

<div>S JABRILL PEPPERS

- I like this selection. I don't think Cyprien will be here much longer. Depending on the next coaching staff he could be a great safety for this defense to go along with Ramsey.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">35: R2P3

<div>RB NICK CHUBB
GEORGIA
- Too much value here to pass on him. Yeldon hasn't really shined and our running game needs a lot of help still. He could be that help.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">67: R3P3

<div>C ETHAN POCIC
LSU
- He's been apart of an offensive line that's lead the way for Leonard Fournette. He's a solid player. Having him inserted at Center allows to put Linder back a guard where he needs to be.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">106: R4P3

<div>QB CHAD KELLY
MISSISSIPPI
- Not a bad option in RD4. Bring him in to help push Brandon Allen and maybe even Blake Bortles if the new coach decides to keep him. Kelly has good bloodlines and he's not that bad of a passer at Ole' Miss. Could develop into a starter with good coaching.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">145: R5P3

<div>OT JULIE'N DAVENPORT
BUCKNELL
- He may not even be there in RD5 next year. He's climbing up the ranks pretty fast. He's a big dude that can hold it down at LT for sure. At the minimum we get a guy that offers great back-up value with the ability to start with proper coaching and strength training.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">182: R6P3

<div>TE JEREMY SPRINKLE
ARKANSAS
- Balanced tight-end for the Razorbacks. I'd imagine he's our replacement for Marcedes Lewis and hopefully someone who can help out Thomas in other packages.

</div>
</div>

<div style="font-size:26px;">221: R7P3

<div>LB JABARI RUFFIN
USC
</div>
</div>
- I know next to nothing about this kid other than the fact that he's been riddled with injuries. This late in the game I am just looking for depth and a special teams player at the most.

Quote:If Linder is playing like a top 5 center we would replace him with another center why?..
That C from LSU can also play G.

The idea is to load up on versatile and strong linemen. Start your best 5 no matter where their "home" position is.
I am a big fan of Ethan Pocic, he could probably play any position on the OL (outside of LT). My ideal offseason for the OL would involve picking up Pocic and whoever Dallas moves off from with the Ronald Leary/La'ell Collins.

Quote:If Linder is playing like a top 5 center we would replace him with another center why?..
Well, he also looked like an all-pro guard in his rookie season.  It's about adding versatile interior players and let the line-up get sorted in camp.

Maybe it would be slightly more ideal to add a top guard prospect, but if a versatile center is sitting there in the second or third round that will improve your line...

There are also a good number of OGs set to hit FA.
