He beat out WRs Corey Coleman and Will Fuller (both top 22 picks) to do it. He dropped no passes. Wish there was video. Maybe the concerns about his hands aren't as big of a concern as some think? I think he will come into the league and try and prove he can pick off balls.

Picks are a luxury. Stopping the pass is his job
He only beat Coleman by tenths of second, and it was only a few people who even competed. (http://www.seminoles.com/ViewArticle.dbm...=210691068)

PlayStation Hands Competition

1. Jalen Ramsey – DB – Florida State (27.4 seconds)

2. Corey Coleman – WR – Baylor (27.6 seconds)

3. Will Fuller – WR – Notre Dame (30.3 seconds)

Based on the 2015 video and assuming not much of it has changed:

1. It appears to me more about agility and athleticism than actual "hands"

2.  3 DB's competed last year and 2 beat his time.

2016 Team Competition is up but very limited time for Ramsey

Freebee: Fowler won his competition in 2015.

Also compared to the 2014 competition, Ramsey's time is not great.

Skechers GoRun Hands Competition

1. Justin Gilbert – CB – Oklahoma State – 22.61 seconds

2. Marcus Roberson – CB – Florida – 23.64 seconds

3. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix – S – Alabama – 24.32 seconds

4. Bradley Roby – CB – Ohio State – 27.78 seconds

I thought i recalled a FSU coach saying Ramsey just got bored without a challenge and didn't try to pick off passes. Not sure that makes sense though...

A lot of good that did Gilbert....
I just want to see him lock down a number 1 WR in the outside without giving up a TD and that would be an improvement

The Jags really need someone to lock down an any # TE, anywhere on the field, without giving up a 1st down, and that would be an improvement.

hopefully that's Jack.
I like how Hopkins talks about always being double teamed. Not 2 games a year.

I was saying for Ramsey himself
According to some draft experts on here, he was the only player in the draft incapable of improving at the next level.

This board has no draft experts.
So glad we drafted him.

Self proclaimed experts doesn't make them experts.

Is someone pushing an agenda here? Smile
Picks are not just luxury but they are ones that could be there for years to come!

With 3 career interceptions, I'd like to think actually catching the ball would present someone with the challenge.

Kind of like saying Vernon Hargreaves just got bored with covering Alabama WRs.

Did Ramsey not win the 2016 competition?
