Nice list.

Personally, i would move Rivers ABOVE Romo and Dalton.

I would also drop Wilson right below Rivers after I moved Rivers up a couple rungs.  But this might be because QB style preference.

So something like this;

<p style="font-size:12px;background-color:rgb(247,247,247);">1. Tom Brady

<p style="font-size:12px;background-color:rgb(247,247,247);">2. Drew Brees

I'd be okay with it aside from Big Ben who hasn't done anything in almost 10 years when he did it was thanks to elite defenses. I don't see him being that high but it's pretty good.

Big Ben is held in high regard because a couple times a year throws a 6 Td game and it's huge news. Then you look at his season TD numbers and are left scratching your head.

Nice on the Brees love!
Quote:Passing alone hed be Luck range but his 10 tds rushing and really only good player on offense and leading them to the superbowl is something remarkable.

So then you're basing off of ONE season?

It's for this coming year.
Quote:Tom Brady's poise and footwork along with vision and strong arm with accuracy definitely has him as the Top 3 QBs in the NFL going into the start of this season.. many would argue that he is in a league of he's own...

Drew Brees doesnt have all the tools as Tom Brady yet he too is a fantastic elite QB...

I disagree with you in Cam Newton as #3... while Cam is  a good QB I don't think that he's elite... he rode on a great Defense in Carolina with Josh Norman gone the team's defense will suffer slightly and with a harder schedule than last season they will struggle to simply get a play off birth this year...

Russell Wilson is also highly over rated in my opinion he benefits from an elite Defense... and with a below average defense without Skittles he wouldve been but by now..IMO

Aaron Rodgers is better than Carson Palmer.. IMO

Tony Romo can't remain healthy.. he could use better WRs but ultimately he's a great QB during regular season but stinks in post season... reminds me of Andy Dalton more of a game manager like Alex Smith...

Philip Rivers is under estimated and a far better QB than many give props to...

Derek Carr is really only one above Blake simply based on performance/stats but I suspect Blake beats him this year in the eyes of everyone...

IMO based on the last 2 years Blake is a Top 10 QB!

lol, I have never seen it called a "playoff birth" before.

Luck was terrible last year when healthy and hasn't been the great qb we all thought he was. He hasn't gotten any better coming into the league and now is on the worst team in division by a good bit. Eli is top 11, not that big a difference and has had terrible years. Without a great defense he can't go to the playoffs, without a great coach I'm interested to see how he does.

Matthew Stafford got benched during the year for Dan Orlovsky. You have no case, and take out Megatron

The ranking is for next year, so last years stats and accomplishments mean more than 2007s stats and accomplishments.

No one here is surprised you can't recognize an obviously elite QB.

The benching took place in Game # 5 when Joe Lombardi was the Lions Offensive Coordinator.  In the 2nd half of the season with Jim Bob Cooter as the Lions Offensive Coordinator,  Matthew Stafford had a 19 to 2 TD to Interception ratio.   With the interception in Green Bay caused by WR Lance Moore not making the correct adjustment.   The other interception ( in St. Louis ) in the final 8 games was costly.   But regardless of schedule,  if you tell me in advance that your starting QB is going to throw one interception in 8 games that he's responsible for,   I'll gladly sign for that.
