Quote:I think they like Marshall more than Gratz or McCray. He was active last year in games where the other two were healthy scratches.

I would love to know Marshall has done to deserve more playing time than Mccray and Gratz

I think they see more potential in Marshall. None of the three has been good, so maybe they think Marshall has the most upside.
If Ramsey starts day one Aaron Rodgers will pick him apart. Please don't put the rookie on this ridiculous pedestal.

It should be House and Prince starting day one. Hopefully Colvin can come in after his suspension and play well for us.

House on Jordy. Prince on Cobb. Ramsey on Adams.
Ramsey needs to be lining up on the #2 receiver week 1 from there he should play well enough to play the opposing teams #1 WR next year. Chiefs did this with Marcus Peters. Turned out well
I don't understand why everybody think house is going to start Prince could just as well beat him out and for this not starting Jalen he has a mindset like neon deion nobody is better than him.He started as a freshman at FSU like Deion he is looking to start his first game in the NFL. I dont care play the best players and bump favorties just saying

We know what Gratz is at this point. If he is kept this season, it will be because of injury. At least with Marshall, there is still some unknown.

As for McCray, I honestly thought he showed potential when he played in 13-14. I think there may be more to it with him and his lack of playing time last year.
I see Ramsey playing a lot of Nickel. I don't see prince as a good fit at Nickel. Davon and Prince both are better fits on outside. I am interested to see if Jalen starts week 1 on outside or just plays the nickel? Ramsey vConfused Cobb week 1? Randall Cobb plays a lot of slot wr. Time to steal the show

this scares me tbh. I dont think ramsey changes direction nearly as fast as cobb and if not aaron is going to eat that matchup all day
Im not going to give Ramsey a real position until i see what they do with him. He can be a total match up nightmare on the defense. Put him outside in press on a top tier bigger WR, put him in the nickel on passing downs and third downs, put him over a better TE, and use him as a roam safety on long passing downs. I think he can do so much hard to limit his position. Which means prince could be outside or inside at any given time. House stays outside because he is the worst tackler of the three

I'm kind of worried about the Jordy Nelson vs Devon House matchup considering House was a backup there when Jordy was considered perhaps their best player after Rodgers.

Before the draft a lot on here were saying House was a number 1 corner. Some of the same people now say he might be number 3 on the depth chart lol. He was never a number 1 corner. Hes a solid 2 though

I'd say he's been the Jaguars #1 cb, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'd be a #1 on another team.

im saying hes not a true number 1 corner
I think House was good. He could be the panthers number 1. Even the pats, tin horns etc.. I could think of a few teams he be a number one on.

For comparison sake

Out of those 4, House was 2nd in terms of stats and production. They all got beat at one point or another but the other 3 have way better pass rush and players around them. I wouldnt be surprised to see him excel even more with rush in front of him. I think he's better than most give him credit for.
Ramsey is potentially a shut down corner. He may start at nickel for a bit, but then move outside opposite of Davon House who is a good CB. I guess Prince and Colvin will both move to nickel and compete there. Colvin was pretty good in the nickel, now that we have depth he can move back there and prosper.
McCray in 2014 > any cb on our roster

still dunno why he didn't play last year

This would be ideal
I see Colvin starting at nickel when he comes back, and Prince being the first backup on the outside.
